Adri's P. O. V.

"HOW long do you think you can keep your secrets?"

      Nakaupo si Argus habang nakapatong ang isang siko niya sa mesa at nakapangalumbaba.

    May diin ko siyang tinignan pero napayuko ako. Ang estado naming pareho ay masyadong magkalayo para bastusin ko siya.

"Kahit pa isa kang talunan at bastarda ng pamilya, isa ka pa ring Fuegos. Tandaan mo yan, Adri."

"Layuan mo na si Xaria, Adri."

       I clenched my fist as I look at him. There's a smirk written on his face as if he was so happy to see me in this state.

     Pinaglaruan niya ang labi niya gamit ng hintuturo niya. Kita ko ang kislap mula sa pulang mga mata niya.

   The red color of our eyes is the hereditary trait of Fuegos clan. But I am different.

    I can change my eye colors to deceive. And my eye colors I've been using is green.

"Wala ka na bang ibang sasabihin?" malamig ang pagkakasabi ko pero mas lalo siyang natuwa. Umalis siya sa pagkakaupo sa mesa at tinuktok ang noo ko gamit ang hintuturo niya.

    I am an illegitimate child. And just because I was born as that, I'm considered as a stain and flaws of Fuegos clan. A stupid bastard.

      Ngumisi siya na lalong nagpakulo ng dugo ko. Mahina niyang sinampal-sampal ang pisngi ko.

    PAPALABAS na ako sa nakakasulasok na mansyon ng mga Fuegos. I've seen my other brothers and sisters in the garden having teas, acting high, elegant and mighty but I looked straightly on the big gate of the house and ignore them.

    From the moment I was born, I decided to make all the Fuegos acknowledged me, not as an illegitimate child, but a powerful mage and a strong family member of Fuegos.

     Rinig ko ang tawanan ng iba kong kapatid di kalayuan. I know their gazes was on me.  I've been used to this treatment. Everywhere I go, this is the usual treatment I get towards everyone.

     The society of Valteroz is filled with nobles, commoners, and royals. I'm part of nobles, but I am not acknowledge.

Illegitimate child was considered as taboo in high society.

   Pumasok ako sa normal at hindi magara na karwahe na nakatambay sa tapat ng mansyon. Inilaan ko mata ko sa labas ng bintana habang nag-iisip.

      Huminto ang karwahe sa tapat ng isang lumang bahay. It's an old mansion of Fuegos. It's filled with spider webs, dirts and cracks everywhere. A place fitted only for bastards like me.

   Pumasok ako sa luma at nakakasulasok na mansyon. Saktong pagtungtong ng paa ko sa garden na puno ng patay na halaman at damo ay nagbago ang kulay ng mata ko.

    My color green eyes turned into light shade of red. The color of fire.

"Bedelia..."

       Hiding in my shadow is the beast I tamed sinced I was six years old. Our demos or other half is a beast that represents us.

    And I am a phoenix.

    It's one of rarest demos to appear.

"You know what to do..." banggit ko dito at tinapik-tapik ang ulo nang kunin ang liham sa kamay ko. Nawala ito nang kusa at lumipad papalayo.

   Ngunit nawala ang paningin ko kay Bedelia nang may ibon na paparating. Dumapo ito sa braso ko. Kitang-kita ko ang rolyo na nasa paanan nito.

   Nang kuhain ko ang rolyo ay lumayo na ito at umalis. Pagkabukas ko ng rolyo ay siyang pagngisi ko na may halong sarkasmo at inis.

   Sa galit ko ay ramdam ko ang apoy na tila pumaikot sa tuyong hardin dahil kapangyarihan ko.

   I clench my fist, and shut my eyes because of frustration.
