A/N; sorry for the lack of updates, this whole time I was locked out of my account, I forgot all my login details, but eventually I sorted it out.

This was where Peter Hale endured his last breaths, on this ground, outside of this house. It often appeared in his nightmares, well both did. He seemed unable to forget the glaring red eyes that had sent him an ambience in the road. That had ruined Max's chances of a normal life.

And now here he was, running to the danger, searching for a sign of the red eyes. Theo looked back at Jackson, who could smell the nerves that were rolling off of him. He only rolled his eyes.

"He's in there." Jackson clarified, and so Theo looked back at the burnt house. Anxiously, he took a few steps forward, yet once more turned to look for reassurance from Jackson, but he had disappeared.

If he wanted to turn back, he had a fair choice to, no one was blocking his exit. But a part of him wanted this, even if it was from Derek. Through his entire life, Theo had stood at the side lines, watching and incapable of doing much. And somewhen he would die, from his fatal heart condition, leaving his dreams in the dust and the girl that he loved to mourn him.

Gulping, Theo ignored the chills that ran up his spine, walking to the door which opened when he attempted to knock upon the hard wood. Perhaps he had been waiting, Jackson may have said something to his own alpha.

No, scratch that. On the way over, Jackson adamantly said that Derek was not his alpha, he was only the one whom had bitten him. Maybe, he could follow in the co- captain's wolfish footsteps and go it alone.

And if he did so, then he would not really be in solitary, Scott and Maxine would be his pack, that regarded to no rules, and did all just to survive.

He was scared of dying, and this was the only route that he even was aware of to prohibit from happening. In return, everyone would be happy, including him, because he would be alive.

So, ignoring the squeamish crawling in his stomach, Theo entered the crisp war house, his feet squeaking upon the weakened floorboards.

"What are you doing here Raeken?" He hadn't even heard him, but Derek had scoured out the intruder. A frown settled onto the man's harsh features, he was not impressed to say the least.

"I uh." Theo wasn't even sure how to go about this. His hand shook as he tried his hardest to keep it steady, his nerves were well apparent.

Derek didn't even need to sense it to know that the boy was scared. The human's heartbeat picked up in his ears, there was a dent in its rhythm... as though there were something wrong with him...

"Spit it out." The Hale crossed his defined arms, expectedly awaiting an answer from the human.

"I want the bite." He didn't, he however needed it. It was the only way, there were no other options left. All hope had vacated from him, and this was his last.

Derek shook his ebony locked head. These teens certainly had their priorities tangled. Being a werewolf was not just a hobby, it was a lifestyle, a deadly one.

"You're talking to the wrong alpha kid." He told him. If he were to bite him, then sure, he'd have a beta, but his priorities were a bit stricter than some boy who wanted to howl at the Moon.

If he were to gift any one with the bite, they'd have to need it, it would have to be somewhat of an improvement to their lives. It wasn't just a ticket to the supernatural, or to keep up with their girlfriends.

"You bit Jackson." Theo exasperatedly sighed.

"Give me one good reason why you deserve it." Prompted Derek, raising his bushy eyebrow at the younger man.

"I'm dying." It wasn't news that he informed everyone of, but through this, it was a sale point. "I have a heart condition, and I'm not going to last much longer. I'm scared and I don't want to be buried in the dirt, I want to live, so please, if you care even a little bit, help me Derek."

Rolling his eyes, the alpha allowed them to turn crimson, before his teeth sprung  from his gums, and into the flesh of Theo's arm.
