Tom left around lunchtime. Well, I drove him back to the hotel before getting more groceries. I then went to the beach to sunbake until five which was when I got a text from Chris saying he would be late to the dinner and Tom was coming to take his place. Which I knew was a lie because of what Tom said this morning. But I let it slide.

Patting down the dress I wore when stepping out of the car I changed my shoes to the heels I brought. Didn't want to drive with such high heels.

"Good evening and how may I help you?" One of the workers said once I stepped through the doors.

"Oh evening. There should be a booking under Chris maybe?"

"Last name (l/n)?" It was normal for him to book under my last name, it would draw attention away from the booking often it made people think we were related.

"Yes, thank you." We walked to an area in the back away from prying eyes and a view of the city. The restaurant was a few floors up. Tom was already waiting at the table and smiled when seeing me.

"Someone will be around shortly for your orders." Tom stood kissing my hand before we both sat.

"Only two chairs. What are the chances Chris will even show up tonight?" Tom chuckled to that.

"Quite slim I'd image. Although he wasn't lying, they're working late today." At least not everything was a lie but I'm sure he knew that when booking tonight.

"And you're on set tomorrow?" I asked and he nodded glancing up from the menu.

"Until Friday depending. Tiaka leaves the schedule flexible." It went silent for a moment as we looked through the menus.

"Any drinks tonight?" A waiter came around with a pen and pad.

"I'll have a wine thanks," Tom ask before looking to me.

"Oh, water is fine. I'm driving." He nodded before walking off. I turned my attention back to Tom. "So what did you do for the rest of the day?" I questioned moving forward placing one hand under my chin.

"I was reading most of the afternoon but have some other stuff to take care of with my agent." I smiled at the mention of books.

"What book are you reading? I've always been a fan of the classics." He perked up leaning forward also.

"And which was your favourite?"

"The Great Gatsby has always been my favourite but I found a book by Hannah Kent recently that I just love to pieces."

"That would be...." I laughed quietly.

"Burial rites. It's about the last woman in Iceland to be executed."

"I'll make sure to remember that one."

"Wait you ever said the name of the book you were reading." Tom smiled.

"The Great Gatsby, it's one of my favourites along with many Shakespeare plays." For some reason, knowing we had more things in common than just tea and the primialistic nature of sexual desire was making me even more attracted to him. My crossed leg from under the table lifted up and rubbed against his leg. Tom smirked, it was hard to think we had to spend at least another hour here before we could leave

"Your wine and water." The waiter spoke placing them on the appropriate sides of the table. "Your meals for this evening?" We ordered only sparing a moment to look away from each other.

"I didn't know you were a lover of books," Tom spoke bringing up the wine to his lips.

"I studied fashion at University with a minor in literature originally and then going back to University a few years ago I did marketing and design." I continued the contact on his leg it was more of a relaxing Manor after a while. "And you studied acting?" I spoke slowly at the end. "It's just an assumption, of course, successful actors don't need a degree." Tom chuckled when I got a little flustered bringing his hand to touch mine for a moment. It made my heart flutter.

"Yes, I did before that was studying literature." I smiled once again having some water before our meals arrived. It's odd getting to know someone after being so intimate, I mean most people move on after sex but with our current circumstances and now Chris rooting for us we can't really do that. Not that I want to in any way of course.
"(Y/n)." I blinked shaking my head and saw a waiter by the table. "Did you want dessert?"

"Oh sorry. I was daydreaming, I think I'll skip dessert." The waiter nodded walking off. Tom started getting out his wallet as I got a text.

"It's Chris." I breathed out with a smile.
'hows it going? ;)'

'wouldn't you like to know :p.'

"What did he say?" Turning my phone off I noticed him standing up.

"Just asking how it's going. I'm guessing he's back from the set." Tom grabbed my hand to help me stand and the waiter came back.

"Your card." He said to Tom and I waited until the worker left.

"You didn't have to pay." I spoke while he walked beside me. Tom smiled moving a hand to my waist as we stepped outside. Maybe I should have brought a coat.

"You made breakfast so it's only far." Tom walked with me to my car and I bit my lip.

"Do you want ice cream? It's winter I know but there's an amazing ice cream place just around the block from here." Tom leant forward into me with a smirk.

"If you have a way to convince me." He tried to be dominating in the dimly lit car park but I just giggled placing both hands to the nape of his neck.

"I'll think of something." Moving forward I kissed him softly and felt his hands on my lower waist so I opened my mouth. Our tongues fort for dominance and for a moment I thought he'd take me against the car but Tom pulled away.

"Best not get too carried away." I nodded breathing out to relax myself. "Lead the way."

....

Tom was recognised a few times while I was getting the ice cream. I made sure I was the one to pay and the only way was to go in alone. I came out seeing a few people talking with him until Tom politely said goodbye.

"Found some fans did you?" I spoke while passing over his icecream.

"I'm surprised no one noticed me yesterday." I raised an eyebrow at him licking the cold snack.

"A little bit cocky aren't you." Tom laughed at that as I took us to a quiet spot by the beach.

"Well, you know who I am." Nudging his side I made Tom chuckle and we sat down on some rocks in the dim-lit area.

"Yes and I thought you'd be more..... Handsome." Tom stopped what he was doing to look at me. "Kidding." I winked squeezing his thigh.

"Chris told me a lot about you." I hummed in response taking a mouthful of my icecream.

"Anything bad?" He chuckled and I gasped. "No what? Tell me."

"Just about the time you were at the beach and your bikini kinda..." I groaned resting my head to his shoulder in annoyance.

"That's a day I'd rather forget. I'll give you something in return, we found a trolly on the side of the road and when Chris was pushing me along we toppled over. He got two stitches that day." Tom chuckled and I shivered. The cold mixed with the ice cream does not suit that outfit I'm wearing.
Tom took off his jacket putting it on my shoulders.

"There was one thing he never told me. How beautiful you are." I blushed lightly as he brought our lips together for a brief moment.

"And I never knew how charming you'd be."  We sat closer together. "Also I want to take your ice cream because your lips tasted so nice." Tom let out a laugh letting me have a taste. "Mmmm good." Tom grinned gripping my hip a little tighter.

"You know you always make it hard not to take you home. Just something about you, I can't control myself."
