He was back. Herewith me. Waking up to Tom was like a dream, as I hope it would stay. Knowing Tom would most likely sleep the morning away I left the room quietly to make myself some breakfast and tea. Soft music played throughout the apartment as the toaster popped. Adding some avocado on top it was a short walk to the small balcony of the apartment with a two-seated table. For the longest time, I believed Tom would come out and join me for breakfast but it was a long flight and we were up late last night. Half an hour I spent outside reading a book before collecting my things and handwashing them.

Although I had the day off I thought I'd go through some files and email's while waiting for Tom to wake up. It wasn't until just past 11 that he came wandering out of the bedroom.

"I wish I woke up with you by my side." Tom basically pouted making me giggle as he kissed my cheek.

"Tom it's almost lunchtime." Smiling up at him he grinned. Quickly finishing up the email I was writing I stood shutting my computer. "Tea?" Assuming he didn't know where things were it would be easier if I made it.

"That would be wonderful." His stomach grumbled making me laugh.

"I'll get started on brunch shall I."

....

Tom didn't want to see anyone today and stay at my place. Even when I said it would be good for him to head back to his apartment and sort a few things out Gom shook his head-hugging me once more.

"I don't want to leave you just yet." Smiling into his chest, Tom just wore a pair of trousers and a turtle neck.
The song playing in the room slowly started swaying side to side.

"I love you." Breathing this out, tom held onto me tighter kissing the top of my head.

"Te quieto con todo mi corazón." Tilted my head up to see a growing smile on his face I bit my lip

"Was that Spanish? How many languages do you know?"

"I'm fluent in five. Italian, Spanish, Greek and French." I gaped at him. 'five' I mouthed making Tom chuckle at me.

"Is there anything you can't do?" Joking about it, Tom looked like he was thinking hard.

"I've never been good at making chocolate chip cookies." We stopped swaying as I smiled pulling away from him. "What's with the face?" Grabbing a bag and sunglasses Tom was still confused.

"We're going recipe shopping."

....

The two of us were walking around the supermarket near my apartment. I didn't need much just chocolate chips and some extra milk. Although Tom was adding things to my basket.

"And why are we buying a box cake mix?"

"Everyone deserves cake." I laughed shaking my head putting it back.

"I'll make a better cake at a different time. Ooo eclairs are also good." He chuckled kissing my cheek.

"Maybe we should go before we buy the whole baking section." Grinning at him as we held hands walking to the self-checkout. As I was getting out my wallet there was a tap on my shoulder. Turning there was no one behind me. Then I heard the sound of the products being paid. Tom smirked as me.

"That was childish." He laughed taking the two bags.

"That you fell for." Shoving his shoulder we both giggled to ourselves while walking out. We walked hand in hand down the street until he suddenly stopped. "Did you want a hot chocolate love?" I tilted my head to the side confused. We were at a small cafe and Tom stared at me sternly.

"I mean I guess but weren't we just..."

"Exhalant." He pulled me into the cafe guiding us to a set of seats in the corner. "I'll order you sit down." Nodding, Tom set the bags down by my side. Wonder what made him crave hot chocolate so bad he couldn't wait until we got back to the apartment. Tom walked over sitting opposite to me.

"So what's up? Earlier today you wanted to stay home and now we're sitting at a cafe?" He smiled softly rubbing the back of his neck.

"I noticed someone following us. A reporter most likely. I'm not the biggest fan of having my private life spied on all the time." I placed my hand on top of his smiling warmly.

"I totally get it....but it still doesn't explain why we're waiting for hot chocolates." Tom chuckled.

"I got my agent to get a car for us. So the reporter doesn't know your apartment building." Making an o shape with my mouth the two hot chocolates in take away mugs arrived and we chatted while waiting for the car to arrive.

"Do you think I should get a car? Here is a spot for one. It comes with the place but I just prefer walking."

"I don't want to push you to do anything love but for now it should be fine." Toms phone rang so the two of us left the cafe and went to the car waiting for us. Tom was right, there was a man waiting not far from the cafe and he was taking photos of us leaving.

....

The cookies were in the oven and set for 40 minutes, wiping my hands clean Tom just finished putting away the flour.

"And done. Now we wait." Stepping back from the counter Tom came over wrapping his arms around me.

"Shower?" His one-word sentence made me smile.

"Yeah, you do kinda smell." Tom laughed hugging me tighter.

"Are you going to join me?" It was so tempting but I knew we'd be in the shower for too long.

"You and I both know we won't be just having a shower. I need to make sure the cookies don't burn." He kissed along my neck sending shivers down my spine.

"I won't be long then." He chuckled walking to the bathroom.
