We're on our way to the company right now. I was riding with my parents car while kuya is waiting there already. This is the day that they'll announce me being the new CEO of the company. Kahapon ay nagmall lang kami ng mga kaibigan ko. After I know what my parents will announce I immediately called Bella & Eli para magpasama ako sa mall.

I buy a office attire and a formal one, I don't know I feel like I need to buy one. Kahit feeling ko ay marami pa akong damit sa walk-in closet ko. While we're roaming around I saw someone that's been occupying my mind recently. I saw him again with someone, they're holding hands while walking. Maybe, one of his toy? I don't know. And I don't want to know baka sinusulit na niya ang pambabae niya dahil baka ikakasal na siya sa ex-girlfriend niya or should I say fiancè na niya.

Nabalik lang ako sa mga iniisip ko ng nakarating na kami sa harapan ng kompanya. Pinagbuksan ako ng isang bodyguard at inalalayan bumaba. I said my 'thank you' to him. Nilahad ni Daddy ang kamay niya sa 'kin.

"Let's go?" Sabi ni Mommy sa 'kin. Tumango lang ako. This is it! This is reality.

Pumasok kami sa loob, may mga media na nakapalibot sa building namin. And there are some bodyguards around us. Ine-escort nila kami papasok sa kompanya namin. Napahinto pa kami ng biglang may reporter na nagtanong.

"Mrs. Monteverde? Ngayon niyo na ba e a-announce ang bagong CEO ng kompanya ninyo?" Nakangiting sabi ng babae.

"You'll know later hija, excuse us. Let's go sydney." Tapos hinila ulit ako ni Mommy.

"Mom? Do you call a press conference for this announcement?" Nagtatakang tanong.

I'm expecting that it should be us, the employees. No media included, but I think I was wrong. Geneva Monteverde will never announce something important if no media included. Well...

Nakapasok narin kami sa wakas, nakita ko na si Kuya na naghihintay na sa loob. He's with Ate Josefa, I immediately smile as I saw her again.

"Ate..." I called her. We hugged each other.

"How are you?" She asked.

"I'm fine, and yeah. After this hopefully," I rolled my eyes as I said that. I'll be starting to manage the company and I'll be facing the hectic schedule of mine.

"You should face your reality now," natatawang sabi niya.

"Come on, Sydney! The conference is about to start." Nagpaalam ako kay Ate at sumama kina Mommy. Pumwesto kami sa mahabang lamesa. Ako at si Mommy sa left side, Si Kuya at si Daddy sa right side. May microphone na nakalagay dun at may mga reporters na rin sa harapan namin.

Okay, kailangan ko ng masanay na ganito. Living a luxurious life it is. Nakangiti si Mommy at Daddy sa harapan while I can't smile widely, I just plaster a small smile.

"Madam? We'll start." Bulong ng sekretarya ni Mommy pero rinig ko naman.

"Okay," and with that the reporters is starting to ask us a question.

"Madam, your daughter is lost right? Where did you find here?" Okay, ito ba pag-uusapan namin dito? About how I dissapeared in this city? Oh well...

"Oh... We found her somewhere in Mindanao. Next question please," maikling sagot ni Mommy.

"Mommy? Do we need to do this kind of announcement?" Bulong ko kay Mommy.

"You should be used to this anak, this is your life. Your living this kind of life..." Sabi ni Mommy sa 'kin. I want to rolled my eyes but I can't. We're live in TV.

"Madam, Now that your daughter is found. What are your plans for her?" Tanong ng isang lalaking reporter. Ewan ko kung dito ba gaganapin ang announcement o talagang interview lang 'to. Ano ba talaga? Naguguluhan na ako.

"Oh, I have so many plans for her but she can decide what she would do. And I want you all to know that starting from this day, she will be the new CEO of Monteverde Group of Companies... We'll transfer all of our assets, shares, and the company to her." Sabi ni Mommy.

"For Mr. Alexander, what are your reaction of what your mother said?" Sabi naman ng isang reporter. Napatingin tuloy ako kay Kuya, nagtataka rin kasi ako kung bakit sa akin napunta lahat. He deserved to have shares of our company.

"I don't have a problem to that, I'm the one who tell my mother that I won't get my shares, and assets also the company... I have my own now, I want to give it to my only sibling. She deserves everything," sabi ni Kuya. And I smiled as what he said he really loves me and I appreciate him for that.

Even though without all of this, I am still lucky to have a family like this. I saw a guy entering the room and I was stiffened when I saw him again. What is he doing here? Palage nalang ba niya akong susundan? Pati ba naman sa kompanya namin?

"We already talked about this, and we agreed to this decision... So, starting from now. I'm happy to announce that the new CEO of Monteverde Group of Companies is my daughter Sydney Monteverde..." Biglang salita ni Daddy kaya nawala ang atensyon ko kay Adrian. Ngumiti ako sa lahat na nagpapalakpakan na pala dahil sa sinabi ng ama ko.

I get the microphone and started talking.

"I want to say thank you for my family, Mommy, Daddy, and Especially my kuya who give all his shares, assets to me. He also deserves of what he had right now, I was happy that I finally back. I leave Manila for a reason, I won't tell what it is... It's my privacy and I hope you all understand. I promise to take care and do everything I can for this company... That's all and have a good day!" After I said that I flashed a geniune smile and take my seat.

Sinabi narin ni Mommy na tapos na ang conference na yun. Umalis na kami dun at ang mga reporter naman ay nagliligpit na. As we go out to that room ay may ibang business tycoon akong nakita. I smiled to everyone, I see.

"Geneva!" Biglang may tumawag kay Mommy. A sophisticated woman with her husband I think.

"Hillary! Nice to see you here, Hi Anthony. Where's your son anyway?" Sabi ni Mommy at nakipag-beso sa kanila.

"Wait, kasama namin siya. Oh here he is, Adrian! Come here anak." Para akong nanlamig sa kinatatayuan ko ng marinig ang pangalan niya.

"Adrian, hijo!" Malaking ngiti ang ginawad ni Mommy sa kaniya.

"Tita!" Lumapit siya kay Mommy at nakipag-beso sa kaniya.

"This is my daughter Sydney, Sydney. This is Adrian Kyle Vergara the son of your Tita Hillary and Tito Anthony..." Pakilala ni Mommy sa 'kin.

"I know him, Mom." Walang emosyong sabi ko. At alam kung natigilan ang Mommy ko.

"Well, that's good! He's the head engineer of one of the resort we construct right now..." Masayang sabi niya niya.

Oh no!

"No way..." Wala sa sariling sabi ko.
