I am proud of publishing an original story on Wattpad, I've been writing fanfiction here for years and it's nice to start creating my own work. Although I feel most people probably know me from my fanfics.
However, this story is far from perfect. This is my first draft and it will certainly not be my last draft. I am planning on adding to this story and I already have a list of things I want to add, and an even bigger list I want to change.
I felt great writing the first half of this book but when it came to writing the end I was lost and confused and I really hate the way I quickly wrote the ending which prompted me to enter a period of self-loathing and not even wanting to look at the document on my computer. I went from being excited to write every night to dread having to write the next chapter as the ending drew closer.
But some time away gave me plenty of ideas and I will write a second draft in the future and my goals are to submit this to a publisher one day. Writing this second draft will not be immediate, and I can say with certainty it will take a while before I get started again.
I'm currently drafting another Cinderella retelling that I'm passionate about, but if you liked this story keep it in your library and whenever I rewrite this you will get a notification.
