I lay in bed and pretended to be asleep, Jaxon soon got up and went downstairs. His phone was right next to me, I had to have a peak.
I unlocked his phone, there was no passcode, I thought to myself 'thats strange, clearly he isn't hiding anything.'
I went into his photo's to see what he liked to take pictures of, or what he did in his free time ever, he was like a book,  there was so many pages that no one knew about him.

He was a strange man, 'who takes picture's of their food?" I thought to myself flicking through the photos.
I came across a photo of him and a young girl, She was cute, 'I'm sure Ezra is his only sibling, no sister of nieces, maybe a cousin' I thought to myself, I quickly clicked off it and went into text's there was a text thread from a girl, Sofia, I flicked through them to see who she was..

Jaxon; I'd slip my hands up your skirt and slide my fingers gently into you..

Sofia; but what if i stopped you..xx

Jaxon; you wouldn't though would you!

Sofia; I would start giving you a strip tease.. xx

Jaxon; what are you wearing right now..

Sofia; nothing..xx

Jaxon; I'm coming over!

After getting that far I heard him coming up the stairs, I quickly locked the phone and put it back on the side table. I pretended to be sleeping, I didn't want to be caught snooping.

The morning after was pretty awkward to be fair, he made me breakfast, scrambled egg on toast. We talked about the weather and work, it was strictly professional.  What had happened the night before wasn't mentioned.

I decided to drive my own car to work, I had to pick my daughter up later on so I couldn't leave my car at Jaxon's.
He drove his own car too, we didn't want Ryder seeing us drive up together.

Once at work I went to the toilet, the name Sofia Rose was still burnt into my mind.
I got my phone out and opened up social media, I put her name into the search bar and looked up the results.
I was shocked at what I saw, this Sofia that Jaxon had been sexting was the blonde kid from the photo.. 
I thought 'Jaxon you dirty boy.' Clicking  on her profile I thought 'she is 16, at least she's legal' I put my phone away and got to work.

Not even 10 minutes later Ryder showed up, and made a sarcastic comment, "you're the hot topic down at the bureau"
'Fuck.' I thought.
I was about to answer when Jaxon said "shut the fuck up Ryder we are at work keep it professional" then he laughed. Little did Jaxon know I had got Ezra fired for not keeping it professional with Jaxon, there brotherly relationship was interfering with their work but at this point I was starting to miss Ezra.

She left the room to get a coffee. "thank you for standing up to her". I said Jaxon.
"No problem, it's like it never happened." He responded. I nodded and we continued to work in silence.

The day flew by, it was time to go home so I could have a soak in the bath and put my feet up, but first I had to go to the supermarket to get some wine, I really needed it.
I had to stop and pick my daughter up first, she had text me earlier on.
I said goodbye to Jaxon and headed out to pick her up, but she text me saying she would just meet me at the supermarket.

I got in my car, and drove to the supermarket, I was thinking of making steak and chips for dinner, that was  my daughters favourite meal.
When I arrived at the supermarket I grabbed a shopping trolly and headed in.
As I got to the doors I froze. I couldn't belive who was infront of me..

Freya said "hey Mom, I told sof she could come for dinner is that okay??"
I couldn't believe this Sofia Rose girl was Freya's Sof!
This was actually perfect, I could talk to the girl.
I replied with "Course hunny, the more the merrier" I could question Sofia then.

Since Freya moved in with her dad when she was 7, I had heard a lot about this Sof but never met her.
Freya only recently moved back home after leaving school, she had started stripping and I was furious. But she was an adult now, I couldn't stop her.

I said a polite hello to Sofia and we went and did some shopping. I had to grab two bottles of wine for this one.

We got back in the car and headed home.
Once we got home I poured myself a glass of wine and one for Freya.
I offered Sofia one to see what type of girl she was, she politely declined saying "Thank you so much for the offer but my Dad's would kill me. I will have one with dinner though they don't mind that."

Freya and I started to prepare dinner, I asked Sofia if she would prepare the table for me.
while she was in the other room I began to question Freya

"Sofia seams nice, is she still at school?" I said to her.
"No, she graduated not long ago, she was an honour student actually, she's really clever.." came Freya's reply. 
"hold on is this the girl you took for her abortion??" I asked. I really hoped I was wrong.
"Shut up mom" Freya scolded. "even her Dad's dont know.."
Of course they didn't. "Oh sorry hunny you know I won't say anything, who was the doctor again??"
She looked confused but I had to know. "Dr Lance I think, drop it mom she might hear you!"
Freya then left the room and helped Sofia set the table, I grabbed my phone and googled Dr Lance the first thing that came up was.

DR LANCE - mysteriously went missing, last seen at her office, if any information contact the police imminently.

I didn't know what to think. I just knew I needed to get to the bottom of this...

we sat down for dinner and I started some small talk.
"How long have you two been friends then, Freya has been talking about you for as long as I can remember?" I said as I played with my food.
"It's been pretty much since we started school, shes helped me out a lot." Sofia answered politely.
"We've helped each other a lot, Sofia supported me through my first period since you weren't around.." Freya said, still holding a grudge then.
I was pretty annoyed at this comment. "You know I had to work a lot.. how else could we afford this house."
"So what do you for work?" Sofia asked me. I was thankful she had changed the subject, She was interested in getting to know me. "I'm a pathologist."
Freya interrupted "The dirty stop out didn't come home last night, bet she was with the guy from work."
"Jaxon and I are friends Freya.. Sofia you know Jaxon don't you?" I watched her face, trying to read her mind.

"I don't think I know a Jaxon" was all she could say. Liar.
I wasn't having this. "You do, he showed me a photo of you and him together on a boat, I assumed you were his family.."
Sofia looked flustered. "Oh that Jaxon, yeah he worked with my dad a couple years ago"
"He's worked with me for 12 year's" I said calmly.
"Maybe he had two jobs" she was sweating.
Freya looked confused. "what's with all the questions??"
"I was just being friendly, its not like I was asking her what she was wearing." I said sarcastically.

Freya looked even more confused by my comment. Sofia looked embarassed, she knew I had read the texts at this point.
Sofia got up and asked if she could use the bathroom, the look on her face told me she was very jealous about my night with Jaxon. She left the room and I made my excuses, saying I had left my phone at work and quickly left the house.

I was outside Jaxon's house, I didnt know what was going on but I had to get to the bottom of this.
I got out of the car and walked up to his door, gently I pushed it, it opened. I walked inside, he wasnt in the living room, not in the kitchen either.
I got to the dining room and saw a trap door open. I don't know what came over me but I couldn't help myself, I walked in and looked down, there was a light on. I wanted to get a better look, slowly I walked down the steps.

This was a giant dolls house! What the hell was Jaxon in to? there were manniquins everywhere, photos on the wall, women in their underwear. I felt sick, he had photos of me in mine, I looked closer, these women had all been lay in my work table at one point! There were the strip club victims.

I walked to the other side of the room, there was a cell, I opened the door and looked inside. Thankfully it was empty.
I got my phone out, this needed reported. I dialed 99.. and before I could finish my phone was grabbed, I was pushed into the cell and the door was locked behind me.
