Chapter 22 - Girlfriends

[Emmileigh]

Waking up next to Donnie brought me back to when he had taken me home to London. I could very easily get used to waking up, curled up in his arms.

Of course, it wasn't waking up in his arms that actually woke me up, but rather his hotel room phone ringing, at a crazy 7 a.m.

"What.. is that?" I mumbled, opening my eyes to see Donnie lean over me to reach for the phone.

"Hello?"

I watched Donnie half asleep as Donnie listened to whatever was said before he put the phone back down. He let out a loud groan before laying back down and pulling me into his arms.

"Who was it?"

Donnie placed a kiss on my shoulder. "Wake up call."

I pouted. "What's the time?"

"7 a.m."

"Really? You gotta get up now?" I turned around in his arms and looked at him.

"Not for another ten minutes. I wanna hold you and just pretend for ten minutes that we have all the time in the world."

I smiled at Donnie before snuggling into him. "That suits me just fine."

"Good," Donnie mumbled before pulling me close, and in no time at all we were both back asleep.

[Karsyn]

I opened my eyes, blinking them to see Nick hovering over me, still in the clothes he had on the night before. He was whispering something but I closed my eyes back. It was too early.

"Wake up, I need to leave soon," I heard him mutter as I opened my eyes again. "Some kind of photo shoot with the other guys and some press."

"We haven't really made up," I whispered as he snorted. "Nick..."

"I apologized."

"I know you did."

"And we're going to take things slower."

"You hovering over me in bed isn't taking things slow," I said as Nick smiled. "At least you're clothed and I'm clothed."

"I missed you when you left," he said as I tried my best not to smile but couldn't help myself. The bastard made me smile. "You know you missed me."

"I did," I whispered, causing him to grin. "Ask me stuff first."

"I will," he said as he nodded. "Third time's the charm, right?"

"Hopefully you've learned your lesson," I said as he leaned over, kissing me on the cheek. Then he moved his lips to mine, giving me a little kiss before planting kisses all over my face until I started to squirm. "Get off of me."

"You'll want me back on you soon, trust me," he said as he kissed me on the forehead and climbed off of me.

I watched him as he grabbed his shoes and walked out of the room, smiling at me as he shut the door.

It didn't matter how much he pissed me off. I was totally falling for him. Fuck, I had already fallen.

Waking up to pounding on the door wasn't how I expected to wake up the second time that morning.

But it appeared me and Donnie fell back to sleep, and he was extremely late for whatever it was he and the two groups were doing that morning.

He told me to stay in his room and wait for him to get back, but I was in dire need of a shower and clean clothes. I watched him leave before slipping my shorts on and leaving the t-shirt of Donnie's I'd fallen asleep in on before grabbing my bag and leaving the room.

I tiptoed into mine and Karsyn's room, not knowing if she was awake or asleep, but smiled when I saw her sat on the bed painting her toe nails.

"Morning."

She looked up at me and grinned. "Morning. Walk of shame?"

I chuckled and threw my bag down on the bed. "Does it count as that if he had already left his room?"

Karsyn smiled. "I don't think we technically count for having walk of shames anymore."

I looked at her and smiled before sitting in the chair by the desk. I turned to look at Karsyn, who was humming softly whilst painting her nails. "You saw Nick, didn't you?"

Karsyn paused her humming and looked up at me. "Yeah. He came by, spent the night. Nothing happened, but we spoke. We're all good now."

"Really? You sure?" I looked at her, concerned.

"Really. I promise." Karsyn looked at me with a smile that told me she was happy and I felt myself relax.

Maybe now things would get back to normal on tour.. whatever normal was these days.
