"Ugh ugh ugh!" I groaned and leant on my suitcase, trying desperately to shut it.

"What the hell are you doing?"

I glanced behind me, careful not to move off the case and looked at Karsyn. "Trying to shut this bastard. It won't close. I need to buy another case. Fuck I already have two!"

Karsyn laughed. "I have three. It's all good."

I gave up trying to cram it all in one case and stood up. "Yea, I know. I hate to think how much the extra charges will be."

"Eh, I'll pay them. No biggie," Karsyn walked over and undid my case, pulling everything I'd just crammed in out all over the bed. "You could try fold them differently."

I looked at her before waving at the case. "Feel free. I need to get ready anyways.

"Oooh it's cousin day today, right?"

I nodded and sat on her bed. "Yep. I'll admit I'm real nervous. What if she's a crazy like my mum?"

"Then call me and I'll come save you. Ooh I like this top."

I chuckled as Karsyn held up one of my t-shirts to her chest. "Borrow it if you like. And yes, that will help. Is it bad I'd rather spend the day with Donnie?"

"No." Karsyn shook her head and turned around. "I'm gonna miss Nick."

"I'm gonna miss Donnie."

We both sighed before looking at each other and smiling slowly.

"What are we like!" Karsyn said before shaking her head and turning back around.

"I know, we'll be seeing them before we know it. It just sucks. I can't wait to leave London." I smiled to myself, just imagining living in America.

"You will be out of there before you know it. Trust me." Karsyn glanced back at me and smiled, reassuring me.

And I did trust her.

I couldn't believe that we were leaving in the morning and that the tour was finally over. Well, they still had a show in Indonesia, but it was the end for us. The end of the best weeks of my life. The end of being care-free. The end of my overdue vacation.

We spent the last few days just hanging out. Nick and I went on a "safari" which meant we went to a fucking zoo with Howie. But I realized that even though we've been up each other's asses since we first hooked up, that the next few days would be a good test to see if this is just some fling or something real.

Emmileigh and I are flying to London first thing in the morning and three days later, Nick and I are meeting in Charlotte, where our flights are supposed to land within thirty minutes of one another.

I'm excited, but I'm nervous. This is going to be the next step in my life and I'm so freaking scared.

"Why are you picking at your nails?" Nick asked as I looked over at him, packing up some of his things.

"Just nervous," I smiled. "Nervous for Emmileigh because she's with her cousin right now. Nervous because the tour is over for us tonight. Nervous because I'm going home soon and you're going to meet my Mom."

"And your Dad..."

"He's my step-father, not my real Dad," I said as Nick sat down on the edge of the bed. "And just, I'm nervous because I bought that house... and now I have to buckle down after the cruise and show everybody that I'm not going to throw my money away, that I'm going to make something out of myself."

"Oh don't be nervous," Nick whispered. "I've seen the ideas you've written up and I think you can do it. And don't be nervous about me going to meet your family. Parents love me, little sisters love me and cats love me. Especially cats named Carter."

"You are so full of yourself," I whispered as Nick crawled up on his knees, pushing me back on the bed and hovering over me. "I'm going to sound like a girl when I say this..."

"... From what I can tell... you are a girl..."

"I'm going to miss you."

"It's only three days, I think. Maybe four. I'm bad with math," Nick said as I smiled. "I'm going to miss you, too. I mean, fuck, I'm going on a New Kids cruise for you."

"Fuck you, you know you're gonna wanna see Jordan," I whispered, causing him to practically giggle.

"I just wish you'd tell me where you bought a house."

I laid there, staring up at him and I wanted to tell him, but I wanted to wait and see the look on his face when he found out.

"When we leave Miami and get to California after the cruise, my new house will be the first place we go," I said as he smiled. "I promise. You can drive and I'll give you directions."

"Okay, it's a deal," he whispered, looking over at the clock on the wall. "Uh, we need to get to the arena soon," he said, looking back down at me. "Tonight, me, you, alone. Got it?"

"Got it," I whispered as he leaned down to kiss me before rolling off of me.

Could I go a few days without seeing him?
