Chapter 21 Let's do this

-So, I see you two solved your problems, Josh says the next day... or bonding ceremony day.

-Yeap, Dimitri says. Thanks for listening to me yesterday.

-Am I missing something?

Josh starts laughing.

-You see when you got upset with this dickhead he started to punch everything around him. I look around not seeing anything out of place in our apartment. No, Anays, not here. He got out and started to punch things inside the house, outside the house and even take it out on the trees in the forest. Dara tried to calm him down, but he beat the shit out of her for calling you 'stupid to fall in love with him'.

-You did what to Dara? I ask yelling at him. How could you fucking touch her? I say punching him in the face exactly as she taught me.  

Of course I couldn't even touch him before he grabbed my arm and pulling me in his lap.

-Calm down, leelen. She is fine, we are warriors, we always fight. Plus, don't get angry with me, she was the one calling you stupid.

-For falling in love with you, which I kind of am. 

-Anyways... When he told us why you two pick up the fight...

This can't be true! No, Dimitri could not go there talking about our sex fight with his little brother and his cousin. I blush instantly and feel a cold sweat on my back.

I only told them that you saw in my head that I was mentally comparing you with my exs and that you think I treat you different because of you past. No sex was ever mentioned. I am not that stupid!

-We were sure he was a dead man. I mean, Dara had a boyfriend for 6 months, John, and he told her once that his ex had long hair or some shit, and she beat him up until he needed medical intervention. You can imagine that they broke up after that. So, bro, do you need me to call someone to help you with the pain? Are burned? Electrocuted? Bleeding? 

I start to laugh imagining me beating Dimitri for what he did last night. Well, he kind of would have deserved it.  

-He is going to survive without any help, I tell Josh. How are the preparations going? Can we complete the bond? 

-Actually, that's why I am here. The girl told me to pick Dimitri so they could come and help you get ready for the ceremony. 

-Why can't I stay here? I don't want to live Anays alone...

-Come on, bro, grow some balls. You didn't let her out of your sight since you first saw her, nothing is going to happen to her, the girl will help her with her dress and stuff. You need to get ready to, I will be helping you... Well more like drink my weight in alcohol and be nice as hell. Plus, if they annoy her, Anays can always set them on fire.  

Josh say laughing. 

-Not funny, I tell him. I will be fine, leelen, go get ready.

I kiss Dimitri's lips fast.

-See, she got this. Plus, we will also need to welcome everyone...

-Who's everyone? I ask with my eyes wide.

-Well, a lot of loyals are expected to come for the ceremony. Anca and Chloe invited a lot of them to join today, but no presentations will be done today, we only want to make sure you are safe and nothing will go south today.
