Tom and I were hosting a little dinner with Benedict, and his wife Sophie and Tom Holland. I had baked a cake a few days ago for tonight, but also for Tom and me. I knew I would have enough for the evening, so I planned in advance. Tom and I had made a tune pasta bake with garlic bread and a salad on the side. The three had arrived just after 7pm and we sat eating and talking about filming and life.

We were in the middle of talking about Endgame and the cast while finishing up the meal before pudding.

"I think Mackie and Seb give you too much shit all the time." I say to Holland.

"Thank you," he said taking his last bite of the pasta. Tom, Benedict, and Sophie laughed at the comment.

"I mean it Is funny, but by God it is annoying having to babysit you all the time," I continued joking.

"Thanks." Tom rolled his eyes making the rest of us erupt in more laughter.

"Do you even process what you say in your head before you say it?" Benedict asks.

"No! I can't help it. I just know the information and I say it because I don't have a filter," he whines.

"It's alright mate," Tom pats the young adult on the back softly, "we don't mean any harm."

"I know, it's funny. I like being the child of the group. At least I don't have as much responsibility as you lot." We all laugh again and finish our food.

"Right," I say, "time for pudding." I take my husband's plate and he stands up to help, even though I didn't need him to. We put the dishes in the sink for later, and he sat back down to talk to the others. I opened the fridge, confusion clear on my face as soon as I looked around for the cake.

"Darling, can you come here please." I asked across the room. Tom quickly got up and came to my side. I turned so that we weren't facing the others.

"What's up my love?"

"Where's the cake?"

"What do you mean?"

"The cake," I said, but Tom still looked confused, "you know, the one that I left at the back of the fridge so there was still some left for this evening?"

Tom's face instantly changed into a look of realisation. He combed his hands through his hair and looked down innocently, "I didn't know," he said it like he was questioning it himself, so I didn't believe him.

"Tom it took me ages to make, I made it 2 days ago," I smiled at how funny it sounded that Tom had managed to eat the majority of a cake in 3 days.

"Is everything alright y/n?" Sophie asked from the table.

"Ehe yeah just um... maybe we should watch a film and eat pudding yes?" I suggested nervously. They all nodded and walked over to the tv with their drinks.

"What film should we watch?" Benedict asked.

"Tom can choose," I waved my hand to the young adult who was sitting down on one of the chairs. He whipped his head to me and smiled when he saw I meant him.

"Sure I don't mind; you guys up for Back to the Future? I noticed the box set," he said a little awkwardly. I looked quizzically at him, nodded, and turned back to my darling husband.

"Go to the corner shop and get something, doesn't matter what but be quick." I said giving him a kiss, "don't worry about the cake. I don't really know what I was expecting after I made it. Now go." I giggled lightly and kissed him again.

"Alright love I'll be back in ten." Tom left and everyone's head turned to the sound of the door.

"Where's Tom going?" Benedict asked.

"To get pudding," I said simply. The three of them looked even more confused and I smiled at the thought of what happened, "I made a cake for tonight; however, Tom being Tom he ate practically all of it." Benedict and Sophie laughed, but Holland didn't move from the confused stance he was in.

"Wait- so he ate a whole cake?!" Tom said bewildered.

I sighed laughing a little and looked at Tom shaking my head, "no I had some too," Tom let out an audible sigh of relief making us laugh more. "But I didn't realise how much he actually had. I didn't think to check how much had gone." I walked over and sat down next to Sophie.

"Don't worry about it. It just proves how good it was," she said.

"Thanks, anyway Tom's gone to get something, so we'll have pudding after all." I said happily and we turned back to the film. Tom came back a few minutes later with another cake and we ate while we watched.

"So Tom how was that cake then?" Benedict asked jokingly.

"It was amazing. People should eat more cake, if you want. Don't if you don't-" he rambled before I cut him off.

"Okay darling," I laughed, "we get it you love cake," I smiled and kissed him sweetly.

"Yes... just as much as I love you."

A/n: I was so happy to write this one. I got the idea of him eating all a cake, from another author I don't know who sorry because I do read a lot of these stories. My idea was to incorporate that into a dinner party and all the other stuff around it. Share your thoughts. ❤
