Language (Loki)

A/N: So the 'robots' in this story are sort of based off of the ones from Age of Ultron, but the timeline is off because you fight with all the avengers original and new. Also Loki becomes an avenger in all chapters I mention him along with the avengers hehe.

Loki's POV

She's just lying there motionless, her unconscious body was on that bed because of me. I didn't protect my y/n, so she is now on a hospital bed, wrapped in bandages, an IV tube going into her hand and sleeping as if she were dead.

I constantly listened to the beeping of the heart monitor sitting next to her making sure not to miss one beat because for all I know it could be her last.

----flashback----

"Y/n look out you've got a drone on your 6," I heard Tony say through the intercom. I saw her take down the drone, but it must have sent some sort of signal because she was soon flooded with the stupid robots Tony had created.

I heard a piercing scream and ran over to y/n's direction. The swarm of robots where too much for her, I tried to call for back up before I too was being surrounded by the bots. Barnes, the Vision, Thor, and Tony came to help us, we quickly destroyed the robots.

"Thank you," I say to the group.

"You really have changed reindeer games. I didn't think you would be so polite," Tony responded.

"Be glad he hasn't chopped of your head Stark," Thor replied.

I looked over to y/n and turned in shock as I saw small amounts of blood coming out of her head. She was on the floor, her heart beat faint.

"Y/N!!!" I screamed shaking her violently.

"We need to get her to the ship," Vision stated and I looked back in anger.

"YOU THINK!!!"

"Brother calm down, I will help you to the jet and Banner and Strange can take care of her," Thor put a hand on my shoulder and looked at me calmly. I was crying, which was something I hadn't done in front of so many mortals before, but I couldn't care. My y/n was in danger and I needed to protect what is left of her flimsy body.

Banner and Strange looked her over, and once everyone was back on the jet we flew as quickly as we could to the nearest healers, or hospital as the mortals call them.

Y/n had been unconscious for 2 days now, she took a pretty hard beating and the 'doctors' where saying she may not wake up. She may be too weak to carry on. I can't lose my queen; I can't lose her...

The other avengers, especially Natasha, Bruce, Thor, Tony, and Peter stayed with her, but they all left eventually. I wouldn't forgive myself if I missed her waking up. I kept thinking about what happened and kept blaming myself for not noticing quicker.

I was pulled from my thoughts as I heard a little whimper. My head snapped up and I saw my y/n stirring and finally waking up. I notified the group and they said they'd be there soon.

She groaned in pain and I held her cheek lightly, letting her know I was there.

"Y/n? Darling it's me Loki." I allowed her time to focus on her surroundings before she found me.

"Who?" She moaned. More tears filled my eyes as she looked completely confused. She's forgotten me...

"I'm your boyfriend," I said almost letting out a definite sob.

She looked even more confused and moved herself away from me, "I don't have a boyfriend," she laughed lightly.

A doctor came in to see if she made progress and was happy to see her awake. However, she could clearly tell something was wrong. She checked y/n over before requesting a word with me. We stepped outside the room and she told me everything.
