Book (Loki)

"Loki, have you seen my- LOKI! That's my diary! Give it back!" You screamed as you notice Loki reading your diary. You had always spent your time around Loki and his brother Thor. You had been friends for well ever and you wrote your everyday adventures in your diary. Unfortunately, over the years you have grown to have a crush on Loki. It's unfortunate because he is sitting in front of you right now reading that precious diary with all the I love you's that you have wanted to say to him.

"I'm sorry y/n I didn't realise it meant that much to you. But now after reading it... wow." He smirked. Being the best friend to the god of mischief was fun, however times like now made you almost want to hate him. How dare he!

"Loki," you say trying to calm down, "please. Give me my diary, it's personal and you know well that personal things should stay that way."

"Hmm maybe not. You have been avoiding me lately y/n and spending all your precious time with my oaf of a brother. I wanted to know why... and now I do." He opened up the diary again and began to read some of your more intimate pages.

"Dear diary," he had a smug look on his face while all the time he read you got redder and redder, "I wish I could tell Loki how I felt about him. I wish I could kiss him the way I want to. I've been avoiding him recently, so that I don't embarrass myself in front of him. I know it's stupid. What would Loki want with me? I'm hardly beautiful a-"

You grabbed the notebook before he could read another word, "it's private Loki!" You wanted the ground to open up and swallow you. Gods!

"I liked the bit where you said-"

You cut him off before he could do anymore damage, "ENOUGH LOKI! I do not wish to hear your remarks on my writings."

"No but you wish of something more," he drew closer to you as he spoke making you shift in awkwardness. This couldn't be more tense if it tried. Loki grabbed your arms holding them gently, so you couldn't move away from him and planted his delicate lips upon yours.

You stood in shock for a brief second before wrapping your arms around him and him placing his hands on your warm cheeks. Loki pulled away first and you both steadied your breathing.

"Loki I-"

"You need not say anything, my dear... just answer me one question. Will you be mine?"

A loving warmth spread throughout your body, but you were confused by his forwardness.

"Listen to me y/n. The reason I looked through that book was to see what you thought of me. I've known about your diary for decades, I've never wanted to go through it, I just-" he paused, "when you started avoiding me, I- I didn't know if I had done something to upset you, and I would've screamed at myself if I did, I saw it on the bench in the gardens and my curiosity got the better of me, and for that I am truly sorry. You must understand that I meant no harm in what I have said to you over the past few minutes. I wanted to know why you were avoiding me because I care about you... I love you. Be mine."

The words sunk in and you lost all control. You kissed him again, more passionately this time. Your bodies moulding together as one. you stayed that way for a moment, neither of you noticing that Thor had entered and was violently grinning at you both. He would've split his face in two with that smile.

You pulled back and your foreheads collided, "of course Loki. I want nothing more to be yours."

"This book of our adventures has taught me that you want more than just love, you want trust, and trust you will have. One day my queen we will have it all. And you will write of our children, their adventures. You have me now. You've got what you wanted, and I have what I have only dreamt of too. I love you y/f/n."

"I love you Loki Laufeyson"

Thorcoughed, you turned in his direction and felt your cheeks burn, "well donebrother. I thought you would never have done it."
