A/N: this is a classic proposal story, I can't remember which story it was where I wrote about them getting engaged. That was a go with the flow story, so that's how it just ended up. Anyway I hope you like this one. This is set in 2012, after the first avengers film came out. So he is 31.

You and Tom have been together for 5 years, you both met at an acting agency, you were waiting for a meeting your agent and so was Tom. You sat next to each other hitting it off immediately. Tom gave you his number and went out for coffee a few days later. A few weeks later, Tom asked you on a date and you've been in a relationship ever since.

Tom is the kindest person you've ever known; he always consoles you when your upset and he never gets angry with you. He makes you feel like the only girl in the world when he tells you you're beautiful, even when you don't believe it. He tells you every time you look at yourself in your full-length mirror with a frown on your face that your body is perfect because there is no normal. And you do the same for him when he doubts himself or becomes overwhelmed with everything that goes on with his celeb life. Spending so much time with Tom meant that overtime you forgot that you were both famous actors, that was until paparazzi flooded both your houses asking about your relationship.

It wasn't really a special day, but you woke up to breakfast in bed and Tom telling you that today was completely free to do whatever you two wanted. You spent the morning walking around London with Bobby and stopping in Hyde park to have a small picnic. There were a few people who came up to you, asking for autographs and picture, some people giving you and Tom little gifts they made for you both which you accepted gratefully. You continued to walk around the town with Bobby in tow, talking constantly like it was the first time you've spoken together in years.

"So darling, what do you want to do next?" He asked. His arm was slung over your shoulder and was holding Bobby's lead in the other hand.

"I don't know... how about we go home and watch a film. Maybe Les Mis seeing as that's just come out," you said, resting your head on his shoulder.

"Good idea, although I enjoy our walks. I am rather tired," he laughs. You make your way home and Tom instantly flopped on the sofa, Bobby joining him and laying all over Tom. You just laughed at the pair of them from the kitchen, grabbing the popcorn packet and putting it in the microwave.

"Like father like son," you giggled. He looked up at you and stuck his tongue out, while you walked over to him and wrapped your hands round his neck and hugged him from behind.

He took your hand in his and brought it up to his lips, giving your knuckles a small kiss, "have I told you how much I love you recently?" He asked looking up at you.

"Last time I checked you told me when I woke up, about five times while we were walking and quite a few times while we were having lunch, so I think the last time you said you loved me was about 10 minutes ago." You both laughed into his neck and gave him a sweet kiss.

"Oh well then I love you." You both laugh again and the microwave beeps signalling the snack was ready, "can you put the movie on while I get the snacks?" You kiss his cheek and walk off.

"Of course my love... come on Bobby off," he doesn't move and Tom grumbles, "come one buddy, I know you love me, but I've got to get the film ready, otherwise I'll be in trouble."

You laugh as you walk across your open plan flat with the popcorn and chocolate you got from the kitchen to where Tom was still trying to shift Bobby off of his lap.

"Don't worry darling, he's just as stubborn as you are sometimes. I must admit, I wouldn't want to move from that position if I was as tired as him," you say as you search the wall of DVDs for your newly bought film.

You sorted the film out and began watching the musical. It was amazing, everyone did a great job with the film. You ever teared up a little when John Valjean died. The credits began to roll, and you went to turn off the film, but Tom pulled you back down again standing up to do it himself. Bobby had moved a few minutes after the film started allowing you and Tom to snuggle up together. Tom turned back around to you, looking a little nervous.

"Tom are you alright?" You asked, thinking he was just upset about the ending of the film.

"Yes darling I'm fine," he took a deep breath and rubbed his hands over his thighs, "there was a reason as to why I wanted to spend the day with you."

"Okay..."

"I love you; I know I've told you about twenty times today, but I don't think I can say it enough," Tom reached into his pocket pulling out a small velvet box an getting down on one knee. Your face illuminated and covered your mouth in shock, you two had been talking about marriage. However, you weren't expecting Tom to ask you so soon.

"y/f/n, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You support me and make me feel so loved, I've never met anyone like you, and I would be honoured if one day I could call you my wife... so y/n will you take my name and become my wife?" He opened up the box to reveal a beautiful plain silver ring and took your left hand in his.

Tears stung your eyes, and you removed your hand from your mouth, "oh God Thomas... yes oh my God YES!" You fell into his arms immediately, not waiting for him to slip the ring onto your finger. You and Tom both wept tears of joy, laughed at the emotions of it all and continued to kiss each other deeply and passionately.

"Can I put the ring on you now?" He laughed.

"Yes- sorry," you stuttered from happy sobs.

"Don't be. I love you so much," he smiled and kissed you again which turned into a little make out session.

You moved over to the sofa and intertwined yourselves together, "let's go out to dinner. I made a reservation at our favourite spot," Tom whispered still peppering kisses over your head and shoulders.

"Sounds perfect."

A/N: I hope you enjoyed this imagine and it wasn't too similar to the previous proposal story I wrote. I actually hope that this one was better than the last one. Leave your thoughts as always. I have one more story to upload today then I will be back to writing another bunch. ❤
