Team (Loki)

A/N: Well guys this is the final chapter. I want to say thank you to the people who've read all the way through this book. I really appreciate it and it brightens my day to see people reading my work and enjoying it. I hope you've liked these stories, and I know I've had a lot of fun writing them. It has been two years since Loki had invaded New York. The public still have some interesting opinions about him, but you love him for him. He'd been captive at the tower, then was let out under your control. Tony, your father, at first didn't approve of your growing relationship, but he learnt to trust you in making your own decisions. He warmed up to you wanting to be with Loki.

Bruce was a little upset because he had strong feelings toward you, but after he told you about it, he was more relaxed around you and Loki together. He accepted your relationship a few months after your father's party when he told you of his emotions.

Clint took a little more time, and you still think he doesn't like Loki, but you don't blame him.

For the past 2 months you and the other Avengers had been discussing Loki's involvement with the group. You had been wanting Loki to be an Avenger to show him that he can be the God of Mischief, but on a side where you wouldn't go up against him. Thor was actually quite interested in the idea and told you about how he used to wish they would fight together like the group does. He was the first to agree.

You all voted anonymously and got Pepper to oversee the vote. Loki was now an Avenger.

"Loki..." you whisper. You had woken early that morning and watched him sleep while your tangled up in his arms.

He grunted and tried to pull you in closer which was impossible because you were up against his bare chest. Loki did manage to intertwine his legs with yours, keeping you in that one spot as he slept.

"Loki, we need to get going. We'll be late for your first job." You smile at his calm face as his eyes flutter open. He sees you, smiles and kisses you eagerly. His cold tongue dances around your lips, asking for your permission. You pull away denying him anymore and persist that you need to get ready.

"You don't want to make a bad impression, do you?" You said trying not to giggle.

"I think I've already set a bad impression." He sat up and watched you collect your suit and his, "I don't know why you let me join, the public aren't going to be very fond on me fighting with you lot." He ran his fingers through your hair, and you sighed.

"I get that, but I'm here to protect you."

----time skip----

You had both gotten dressed, you in your suit and Loki in his armour and helmet. You walk out of your room into the lift. Once you get to the right floor, you see all the Avengers sitting waiting for you. You take Loki's hand and lead him to the group. You feel like a child sneaking sweets out of the kitchen. Tony turns to you first and smiles at you. You hug and sit next to him, Loki on your left, Tony on your right.

"Reindeer games," your father says and nods in his direction and you feel immense happiness flood over you.

"Stank," Loki replies. The other Avengers try to hold in their laugh, but Steve didn't even want to hide, he cackled and sent all the other Avengers into fits.

Tony rolled his eyes and slumped next to you like a child. You looked at Loki and shared a smile before he dipped down and kissed your cheek. Natasha awed at their pair of you and you threw a pillow at her face.

"Rude," she laughed. "Anyway Loki, we're trusting you now... don't break it." Her face was stone cold and stern, like always. You knew she wants to protect you but he's different now.

"It's okay Auntie Nat, he hasn't got me pregnant, so you can trust him not to blow up the earth."

Loki looks a little sheepish which Nat picks up on, "Loki?"

"I'm joking Miss Romanoff, y/n's not with child. The 'blowing up the world part'... maybe." He grins evilly at the redhead and you laugh. You shake your head and look back at Nat who almost got up and stabbed Loki. He held up his hands in defence and stopped laughing, "I promise I'm joking. If I wanted to take over the world, I would hardly explode it, there's nothing to rule over then."

Just then Nick Fury walks in with Maria, eyeing everyone, "good morning agents... Loki. I hope you're ready for your first mission."

Loki nods and smiles at the director. You look at Loki and kiss his cheek causing some more noises from the other agents.

"Well then Loki, y/n, Tony, Romanoff with me." Fury commands. You get up off the sofa with the others and walk across the room to the lift. You hold Loki's hand fondly.

"Welcome to the Avengers Loki."

Like I've mentioned, I'm thinking about writing a Jonathan Pine story and a boyfriend preferences book too. I might also write a Robert short story incorporating the story line from this book because I really enjoyed writing these stories. I'll see you soon. XXX
