I imagined her alive, laughing, playing, and having fun.
She must have already seen that death awaits her. Why didn’t she tell it? Nakagawa sana ng paraan para takasan.
But if death was really her fate, then we should have enjoyed every minute of her life. I should have give her all of my love and attention.
I waited for her.
I searched her.
I watched her grow. She was a jolly child, the source of happiness of her new family. She was a cheerful sister who brings smile to her siblings.
I saw her turn from a cute girl into a fine, young lady, and as the years passed by, she changed so as my feelings.
I fell deeper, I was drowned alone.
People say, “There are many fishes in the sea.”
I don’t want anyone, I only want her.
I can’t find another fish because she is the sea or, maybe, the ocean.
I love her so much.
I was by her side when she cried a bucket of tears yet she didn’t know. I was suffering, too, when she was mourning from the death of her loved ones.
I stayed with her when she thought she had no one.
“You can have my jacket. I will go get something.”
Someone who was left by her family, it must be depressing for her. Death must be visiting her mind, persuading her as the last solution to her miseries.
I closed and opened the door leading inside the hospital. Still, my eyes not leaving her.
She positioned herself on the railing. Fear consumed me when I saw her right hand slowly losing its grip from the metal.
