Quick recap because I haven't posted in so long. :)

Meghan and Sonnet are doing good together, and Kelley and Eliza are also together. Meghan isn't called up for camp because the federation doesn't want her and Moose.

Meghan's POV:

I end my phone call with Nicole. She and I have had several phone calls in the last little while to try and figure out our lawsuit against the US soccer federation.

It has been several weeks since we decided we were going to sue and training camp has started for the girls for the She Believes Cup. Kelley wanted to stay here with me but I told her she needed to go. I am staying in Utah with Eliza. She and Kelley are so in love it's cute. She is super sweet too. She is staying in the house with me for the couple of weeks Kelley is gone. I'm thankful I don't have to be alone. That would kind of suck.

Anyways.... I get off the phone. I am beyond pissed at this point. I call Kelley to tell her the shit that is happening.

The phone rings once before Kelley picks up.

"Kel! I'm fucking pissed! They offered me a settlement. I mean what the fuck! Do they honestly think they can pay me to shut up and not expose their discrimination."

Kelley's POV:

I sat down to lunch with the team after a long practice when my phone rings. I see it's Meghan and answer it. I miss her and feel bad about coming and playing even while she can't.

I put her on speakerphone so the other girls can say hi as well. Suddenly I am met by a very angry Meghan on the other end. The other girls at the table either look very surprised by her choice of words as she doesn't swear much, or are laughing at how angry she is.

"And hello to you too." I laugh at her. "You're on speakerphone Meghan."

"Oh... Hi, guys" Meghan says with a laugh realizing she was just heard by the whole team.

We then get into the rest of the conversation. The whole team agrees with Meghan's anger and wants to help.

"What if we go public with all this? Expose the federation for what they're doing?" Pinoe asks. We discuss it but we realize that it could mess with the lawsuit. We agree we have to ask Nicole first.

"Well, I think we should all go on strike!" Ash yells. And she is met by a chorus of agreement. "If we all refuse to play until she is allowed back on the team then they have to let her go. They won't risk not having a team." Looking around the room all the girls are nodding their heads agreeing that they would in fact go along with this plan if it meant getting Meghan back on the roster.

"No guys. You can't do that. You all need to play. And Knowing the federation they would just find other players to replace you all. It's all good. It will be sorted out. I'm just frustrated," Meghan's voice comes from my phone.

We talk for a few more minutes before we end our conversation. As soon as I get home from the Cup I am figuring this all out for her.

Meghan's POV:

The next few days are boring for me. I work on schoolwork, go to practice, and have meetings with Nicole.

Thankfully Emily and I have facetimed a lot. I miss her so much and it kills me that I can't be with her. I miss having her sleep next to me and hold me. She makes me feel safe.

I eventually fall asleep to thoughts of her.

Too soon there are no longer peaceful thoughts of her filling my mind.
