Meghan POV:
Thankfully my sleep is uninterrupted now that I am in Emily's arms.
But eventually, as morning comes I wake up. I open my eyes to see my favorite pair looking back at me.
"Are you watching me sleep?"
"Good Morning to you too," she says but I can see her blush. Hah, she was. I decided to push her a little.
"You know it's weird to watch people sleep right?" Her face turns an even darker shade of red.
"Ya well, you're cute when you sleep." Now it's my turn to unsuccessfully hide my red face. Aww, she thinks I'm cute. Maybe I do have a chance with her after all. But then I remember I made a promise to spill all my deep dark secrets. So then again maybe I don't have a chance.
We lay in each other's arm for a little while longer until we both decide to get up and get ready.
"Em... If we are going to do this I'd rather get it over with sooner rather than later."
"Ok. I understand. I'll text Kelley and see if she is awake. But I'm hungry. Any chance you want to go to the Starbucks across the street with me?"
"Ya sure."
We get Emily her morning coffee and a pastry for breakfast. I get one too but only eat a few bites as I am feeling quite nervous.
"Come on Meghan you haven't been eating very much and you threw most of it up last night. Please just each your pastry. I know you are nervous but it's just me and Kelley.
"Easy for you to say" I snap back. I can see hurt flash across her eyes.
"... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap," I apologize.
"No, it's ok. I shouldn't have said it. It made it sound like your feelings aren't valid and they are." she smiles back at me. I try to eat a few more bites of my breakfast but I can't seem to finish it. Soon enough we head back over to our hotel with a coffee in hand for Kelley. We make it back up to our room and Kelley says she is on her way. I go digging through my bag to try and find my favorite sweatshirt. I know that if I'm going to do this I'm gonna need all the security and comfort I can get.
"What are you looking for?"
"Aaa.. a sweatshirt..." well if I'm spilling all my deep dark secrets in a minute I might as well start now. "It was my brothers." And with that, there is a knock at the door.
A slightly sleepy Kelley enters and gratefully takes a sip of the coffee we got for her.
"So what's up?" she says as she climbs into my bed. I flop face-first down next to her.
"muh sonjdjtn skdfusoifn sdjf aoe." I state but it's muffled through the pillow my face is currently in.
"Ah what?"
"I convinced her to tell us about her past." Sonnet interprets my statement. "We had a bit of a rough night last night." I can feel the bed dip as Emily sits by my feet.
"Oh..." I can hear the surprise in Kelley's voice. This is definitely not what she thought she was getting into on her day off but it's too late now. There's a silence in the room and I know they are waiting for me to start. I really don't want to. Everything in me is saying no. Don't do it. Run.
"Come on Meghan. We agreed last night. I know you're scared but it will be ok." I can hear Emily's quiet voice through the muffle of the pillow I have my head buried in.
Uhhhh... she's right. Ok, here we go. I roll over and then sit up so I can see their faces. There are already tears in my eyes.
"I don't know where to start," I mumble out.
