Kelley's POV:

We had an interesting interaction with Meghan early. Between her getting mad at Sonnett and I am then the awkward conversation about her parents with the whole team I make sure to keep an eye on her during practice. I just want to know what has happened to this girl.

I am pulled out of my thoughts when Coach announces that we are going to do a scrimmage. This makes everyone excited. We are divided into teams and luckily Meghan and I are on the same teams. As we huddle up as a team to figure out positions Meghan comes up to me.

"Hey I just want to apologize for getting mad at breakfast. We can talk more after practice but I'm sorry."

"Aww thanks. Apology accepted." And with that we are good again.

We start the scrimmage. It's going really well. Meghan is a completely different person on the field. No longer a shy young kid, she runs around our teammates with confidence and experience.

Soon enough I am able to get the ball away from Alex who is on the other team. I can see that Meghan has outrun her defender, Allie Long so I send in a long ball to her. She uses her chest to bump the ball and then place it right at her feet and she is off again. She looks upfield and we both see that Tobin is open. She makes a beautiful pass just in front of Tobin who is able to tap it past Ash and in for a goal. Meghan runs over to Tobin and gives her a hug. I run over to them and join the hug.

"Thank you Meg! That was a perfect ball!" Tobin squeals.

"Ya you are so much more confident out here!" I say with excitement.

Meghan smiles at our compliments. We finish up our little party and head back to our spot to continue the game. We are now one up on the others. Let's hope we can keep it that way. We continue and there are good opportunities for both sides but no one is able to add to the score sheet.

After an attempt by our side which is saved by Ash, she clears the ball. The closest players are Meghan for our side and Julie for the other. They both go up trying to get the head. From my position on the other side of the field I can tell this isn't going to be good. Neither were really aware of where the other was and they both went up. I watch in horror as they crash into each other in the air. They land in a heap on the ground.

Even from where I am I can hear a sound somewhere between a grunt and a scream come from Meghan. Julie landed on top of her as they came down. Shit! This isn't going to be good. I start running toward them to make sure everyone is ok.

Julie moves so she isn't on top of Meghan. She crouches down next to her checking to make sure she is ok. As I get closer I can see the concern and guilt in her face. Ash and I are the next ones to arrive next to Meghan. At this point she is curled up in a ball and her body is shaking as I hear sobs coming from her.

Julie backs up knowing Meghan probably won't want to see her right now. As she backs up she bumps into Christen. "Hey, it's ok. Jules. It was an accident." Chris says to her trying to get her to calm down. At this point Julie is crying. She obviously feels guilty for hurting Meghan. I can also see Dawn is running over to check on Meghan.

I turn my attention back to her small from on the ground. I place a hand on her back trying to show her that I'm here and to help her rollover.

"NO. STOP! PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" She screams out and pulls away from my touch. I can feel the whole team's eyes are now on the current situation.

"Shit. She is having a panic attack." I say coming to the realization myself. Ashlyn, who is across from me, seems to understand my message and pulls Meghan into her strong arms. She thrashes and kicks at the contact.
