Dodging into the swarm of sweaty bodies dancing on the floor. I looked around and finally saw Gabrielle waving her hand at me. Rolling my eyes; I walked towards their direction. It's her birthday and she decided to celebrate it on this bar.
Great! They're with their bodyguards, I mean boyfriends. I hissed in my head after I reached their table.
"Seriously?" I glared at Gab and Max after I greeted Gab, and just gave the two boys sitting with them a thin fake smile. Jongin and Minseok both smirked and nodded.
"I'm sorry, it was really just the three of us but then Jongin knew." Gab reasoned giving me a forced smile. "Whatever!" I uttered and slumped myself on the couch across them.
"Oh, by the way babe, I invited my friend." Jongin speak emphasizing the word friend and turns his head at me, like mocking me and I know who he was referring to.
"I hope you don't mind Gab, he just texted that he'll be bringing his girlfriend." Minseok added after checking his phone, also emphasizing the word girlfriend while looking at me.
"It's fine right babe? You're his friend after all and it's your birthday." Jongin said chuckling like it's a joke.
Gab and Max looked at me worriedly, but I give them a reassuring smile and drink the beer in front of me, in one straight gulp.
Jongin and Minseok woah-ed while the girls transferred to the couch I'm sitting leaving their boyfriends on their seat.
True enough, after 20 minutes, Chanyeol came with a girl leeching all over him. Our gaze met but I looked away first.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Jongin beamed and stood up followed by Minseok, they fist bump and I rolled my eyes for the nth time tonight.
The girl with him is all smiles after greeting Gab and still clinging like a leech unto Chanyeol.
"Happy Birthday Gabrielle." Chanyeol muttered and faced Gab who's beside me.
I busied myself devouring the food in the table and drinking the beer to avoid myself looking at him, because I might cry. This will be my first time seeing him after we broke up 4 years ago.
"I thought it would be just the six of us?" I heard Chanyeol speak to Jongin and Minseok lowly, but I heard him clearly.
"I'll just go to the washroom." I whispered to the girls and stands up.
"We'll go with you." Max said looking up at me, I smiled and they followed.
Once I closed the door, I feel like my strength escaped me. I gripped into the sink and stare at myself in the mirror.
"Are you ok y/n?" Max said as she stares at me.
"I'm sorry y/n, would you like us to transfer to another club? We will just leave them here." Gab who looks very worried and guilty.
"No, it's ok girls. I'm fine. It's your birthday Gab and we should have fun tonight. To hell with him!" I smile and hold their hands.
I let them go first and then followed after.
I don't know if he did it on purpose or they're just really into PDA because I saw him looking at my direction and leaned over to his girl to whisper something while encircling his arm to her and then the girl giggled and kissed him. I right away moved my gaze, not ready to see them making out in front of me.
Thankfully his girlfriend didn't join our seat and just clung unto Chanyeol. We had our own world in our couch wile they have their own on theirs'. I occasionally have a glimpse on them and whenever I turn my head I can see Chanyeol looking at me. I know we've separated in a bad state, so I don't need to act civil around him.
