It's been 3 weeks after we broke up. In the midst of our groups' comeback, I managed to hide my broken heart. Though I know my members knew what's happening, they didn't forced me to open up yet.
We are currently at the practice room preparing for our performance for SBS Gayo. It will be a week from now.
"You think a bob cut will suit me?" I asked my members. We're currently on break. They looked up in unison brows furrowed. I know I once told them before I hate getting my hair short.
"For a change?" I added, answering their unspoken questions. They knew Chanyeol and I broke up and my heart is still broken, so they avoided to ask that's related to him.
"You have a small face so you will still look great." Our leader spoke.
"Yeah and you can add color like uhmm brown-ish!" Our maknae.
"Yeah for sure he will regret hurting you." Our second maknae uttered then right away pursed her lips with her hands, regretting what she said. I smiled at them.
"It's not for him, it's for myself." I replied then our choreographer called us that break is over.

@SBS Gayo. Every invited groups or individuals will perform onstage. The concert has started and I can hear fans are getting hyped about every groups performances. Got7 is currently performing and we will be next. Yesterday I followed my desire to get a haircut. It's like a bob cut and my hair on the sides were shaved, i did colored it too. My members and manager praised my looks, they say I look fierce and strikingly gorgeous at the same time. Tonight will be the first that I will show my new look. I'm very aware that Exo is outside, as usual they will perform last since they're great at ending every show. I took a last glance on the mirror before I followed my members since we will be onstage now.
Lights we're turned off and our song is starting to play. Everyone began to scream and shout our groups' name. The spotlight was lit on our leader, she turned to face the crowd and sang. The rest of us are still on dim and our backs on the crowd until our part began. When it's my turn, I slowly turned my body facing the crowd. I heard gasps and shocked reactions, because they always see me as the sweet member and now I transformed into fierce based on my appearance and style now. Well maybe it's true, pain changes you. I avoid to avert my gaze on Exo's table the entire performance. We did 3 more performances and we pulled it off. After the last song, we exited the stage. We were approached by our manager.
"Great job girls. Y/N check out the net you're trending." She said wide smile. I am confused. We got inside our dressing room and I opened my phone.
"Wow I really love Y/N's new look!!"
"She's really urgh-- can't explain! She's ethereal."
"Did y/n and Chanyeol broke up?"
The last comment on our video uploaded on twitter made me smile sadly. We have announced our relationship to the world and our fans supported us, but love comes with pain.
Chanyeol's Pov
Sbs Gayo Concert. We're already on our assigned table. Got7 just finished their performance and the host had just announced the next group to perform. It's y/n's group, baekhyun elbowed me and I jokingly offered him a punch.
"They're next." Sehun who is on my left whispered. I just rolled my eyes. They knew about our break up, and they're teasing me.
The stage is now dimmed but we can still see them forming there. When their song started, they each turned the audience and I almost forgot how to breathe when the spotlight lit on her. She got a new haircut, it's just looks so great on her. Everyone inside is in awe. She was always the cute and sweet member but now she totally changed into a fierce princess.
"Woah! Is that y/n? She's so different." Kai uttered wide eyed.
"Yah chanyeollah, was the break up really that bad?" Xiumin nudges me.
"But I like her style more now." Chen smiling looking at me.
I just kept my mouth shut and ignored the members' teases. I can't peel off my eyes on her. Our manager and company doesn't have any idea of our break up yet, it's not like the thing to brag about.
We we're always fighting for the last couple of weeks. We're both busy and tired. We fought over a very nonsense thing, I wore the shirt my ex gave me before, well it's not really intentional, I just picked any shirt I could inside my closet and wear it. She's really jealous and insecure. Because I was really worn out, I didn't mind her maddening at me. She shouted and said break up. I was aggravated, shouted back break up to her and stormed out from their dorm. Neither of us initiated reconciliation, guess we're both stubborn.
The show is almost to end and we're going to perform last. Before the second to the last group we left our table to prepare. We bowed to each groups table, and when we passed y/n's group, they all stood up and we bowed to each other. I avoided staring at her, guess she was also.
We had finished our performance and officially ended Sbs Gayo. All the group went onstage to mingle with everyone. We moved aside to let other groups stand comfortably. I spotted y/n and her members approaching. They positioned in front of us.
Baekhyun and Sehun are pushing me towards the front. I jokingly punched them and walked away then stood beside D.o but D.o pushed me away, I stood beside chen and xiumin instead. Suho went to them and greeted them. She turned around and bowed at suho, I was staring at her the whole time so she caught me looking at her. She smiled and bowed. Kai who's at my back ,saw it and nudges me playfully.
"You know hyung you're like teenagers." He whispered to my ear and chuckled.
"Shut up Jonginah, as if you and jennie we're not checking out each other." I whispered back at him and he rolled his eyes. I just laughed.
After encore we left the stage one by one. Baekhun tried to put his arm on my shoulder, which he forgot he can't. Kai and Sehun walked with us.
"Chanyeol hyung, you both are really stubborn. Why don't you make up with her?" Sehun
"Yeah. Like you can't keep your eyes off to each other. " baekhyun
"She's the one who said break up." I replied and walked fast to be ahead of them.
"Yah! Chanyeolah! That's very ungentlemanly of you!" Kai shout-whispered as we entered our dressing room.
"I don't care." I know I'm behaving like a pms-ing girl but urgh I'm chickening out and this is all new to me, being in a serious relationship.
"Well, don't regret it in the end." D.o said who is now sitting on the couch.
