Chapter 33- JC's

Sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t! I've been cussing for quite a long time now. I am walking back and forth in the hospital's hallway because d*mn, my wife is currently giving birth!

Hindi ako mapakali sa iisang pwesto lang. Minsan ay nauupo at tapos tatayo at tsaka maglalakad ng pabalik-balik. This morning, nagsimula nang maglabor si Syringe pero hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa lumalabas ang bata. D*mn! I am fvcking nervous. It's already 6:50 pm but no one is still going out from the room where my wife is. Halos maglalabing-dalwang oras na sya sa loob.

Wala akong ibang kasama dahil hindi ko pa naibabalita sa pamilya namin na manganganak na sya.

For a moment, I am stunned on my place because of the sound that I heard. A cry. A baby's cry...

Napaupo ako at hinihintay ang doktor o nurse na lumabas mula sa kwarto pero walang lumabas ni isa. Isang ingay lang ang muling narinig ko, a cry. And I know that it's different from the cry I heard before! Sh*t?! Tama ba 'tong naiisip ko? Parang tinatambol ang dibdib ko. Anlakas ng tibok at tunog nito.

Minutes later, a doctor came out from the delivery room. He walks towards me with a smile plastered on his face. " Congratulations Mr. Santos, you have adorable babies. Your wife will be transferred in a private room" The doctor's voice echoed in my mind. Hindi ko alam kung kailan umalis ang doktor. I just noticed that he's not infront of me anymore. Para lang akong nabato sa pwesto ko. Babies? Oh God!

Syringe Aidcillin

I know that I'm in the hospital kaya hindi na ako nagulat when a white ceiling greeted me. Ramdam kong may nakayakap sa akin. Kahit hindi ko pa tiningnan ay alam kong si Josh ang nakayakap sa akin.

Marahan akong umikot paharap sa kanya. He's peacefully sleeping. I can see exhaustion from his face but it is covered by satisfaction, happiness and contentment. I gently caressed his cheek. D*mn! Ang gwapo talaga. Kahit na limang taon ang tanda nya sa akin, hindi pa rin mababakas ang katandaan sa kanya...napakababy face!

Few minutes later, he opened his eyes. " Did you have a good sleep?" Pambungad na tanong ko sa kanya. He just nodded before tightening his hug. He nuzzle my neck. Napahaplos nalang ako sa buhok nya. I know he's tired and sleepy. Kanina pa kasing maga ko naramdaman ang contractions, pagkatapos ng isang oras ay pumutok na ang panubigan ko.

We heard a knock on the door kaya tumayo sya para buksan ito. Dalawang nurse naman ang agad na pumasok na may dalang dalawang sanggol...our babies.

The nurse handed me the baby..." Here's your baby, ma'am. He came out two minutes earlier than the other one" The nurse said. Nakita ko namang inabot din nung isa pang nurse ang isa pa naming baby kay Josh. " Babalik po kami mamaya para kunin ang pangalan ng babies nyo" The nurses said before leaving our room.

Tumabi sakin si Josh. "So, let's name them!" He excitedly said. Delightfulness is very evident in his eyes. Well, sino ba ang lalaking hindi matutuwa kung dalawang lalaki agad ang panganay mo. Idagdag mo pa na kamuka nya pareho!

"I want them to have the same initial as yours" His name is Josh Cullen. When it is abbreviated, it's JC. I want our twins to have the same name abbreviation as his. I saw his lips stretch and form a smirk. "Patay na patay ka talaga sakin no?" He playfully said. I just rolled my eyes at him. "Sira ulo. Bilis na! Let's give them names" Agad naman syang sumeryoso habang nakatitig sa babies namin at ganon rin ang ginawa ko. Ilang sandali pa ay nagsalita na uli ako. "Jaycen Case, that's the name I want for our eldest" He nodded then he smiled. "Then I'll name our second baby as Jaydelle Chase" He said that made me smile.

" Welcome to the world little JC's" I said then I kissed their forehead.
