Gianni's POV:

I was unlocking my truck door after leaving the hospital and checking in on Janae this afternoon. My mind was floating from thought to thought. My sister had become a killer like the rest of us. She was supposed to remain pure from this and allowed her to turn into a killer. I could barely look Janae in the face or my nieces. Every time I looked at them I couldn't help but think that it should have been me. I'm the one that should be dying not Roman, but here I was alive and he was on life support. I heard someone walk behind me and I moved my hand slowly to my gun in my waist band. "Gianni Marchetti?" A man spoke up.

"Who's asking?" I looked in the window and caught it was two cops. I turned around and adjusted my jacket. I leaned against my truck and just stared blankly at them. "I'm a busy man, so make this quick. I have somewhere to be." I had run out of patience with everything.

"Yes Gianni-"

"It's Mr. Marchetti to you. Once again make this quick. I'm not a fan of cops and I try to remain pork free." I saw the vein in his neck tick. "Oh I hit a nerve. If you have nothing to say I'm leaving." I turned around and got in.

"Have you seen your daughter Mr. Marchetti?" He asked.

"Not since she was removed from my home last night. Her grandparents took her last night. They didn't show up to court this morning when all of their falsified accusation fell through and were proven to be so. I'm leaving the hospital now because my lawyer said I can go pick her up now with my lawyer and some other officers. Now I'll be sure to call your superiors for the inappropriateness of you showing up here to where my brother is fighting for his life. This is very distasteful. A simple call would have sufficed." I glared.

"You said last you seen her she was with her grandparents. Your daughter's grandparents are Lucinda and Daniel Johnson correct?" The second officer asked calmly.

"Yes." I nodded.

"They reported her missing this morning." I stood up straight and the first cop smirked. "Has your daughter contacted you at all?"

"No, when they took her she couldn't bring her phone. It's in my car."

"Are you lying? It would be a shame to slap some cuffs on you and throw you in the back of my cruiser in front of all of the cameras." I'm killing him and his family. I saw his hand on his cuffs ready to go. His partner looked uneasy.

"Officer it seems like you are making some wild assumptions. How about we call out his uncle who is far above your pay grade and sort this out at the station. We'd hate for you to have to be fired. I'm sure your wife would have that." Ronald stood in front of me.

"Who are you?" The officer snapped.

"Dr. Marchetti, that's who I am."

"I apologize for my partner's behavior, but if you could come down to the precinct we can get all of this figured out."

"I'll just meet you there." They nodded and walked away. I could hear the calmer one scolding the other telling him that they could lose his job. I got in my truck and Ronald stopped me. I looked at him. "There's no way in hell you're going alone." He shook his head. "Rhydian will be going with you." Rhydian jogged over and hopped in my passenger seat. I rolled my eye and got in. As I drove I could see him playing on his phone at the corner of my eye. "So cousin, where shall we hide his body when we're done?" I smirked at thought. After what can only be described as a slaughter of everyone the paper work passed through this morning to forge it perfectly. I don't feel bad about it though. It had been a so long since I'd done something like that. After D died I for the first two months after I got Zariah to sleep I would go out and it was a blood bath. I took my Zio Carmine coming back into town to get me to stop. After that I put my rifle away for good. I stored it underneath a tile in what one day will be my final resting place.
