"Lia it's time to rest."

"No."

"Lia please. Mula nung nagising ka nagtetraining kana. You haven't even touched your food or even slept!"

"Just go."

"You think Gray will like the idea of you starving and killing yourself?"

She's not listening.. As if she have become another person. No.. Not really. She's just stubborn.

I sighed and looked at Lia again.

She's draining herself because of what happened. I know it's a tragedy to lose her brother.. Graynger .. But it's more tragic to see her as suicidal as this.

Her cast killed Gray.. Not her..

It has been a month and the Lia I know is unimaginable now from what she looked before. Kung dati payat lang siya. Ngayon maikukumpara na sya sa skeleton na pinatungan lang ng balat. 

"Lia ano ba? Step out from the training ground and come with me. After mo kumain, matulog at maligo, sige, pababayaan kitang gawin ang gusto mo."

Pero gaya ng dati, parang wala siyang naririnig. 

FLASHBACK

"Lia enough!"

"NO!NO!NO! EVEN IF I HAVE TO KILL MYSELF JUST TO CONTROL THIS CURSE WITHIN ME I WILL NEVER STOP TRAINING!"

Pursigido pero tagaktak ang pawis at puro luha ang mukha ni Lia habang sinasabi nya ang mga salitang iyon. It's the first time she had answered me since the day Gray died. Akala ko hindi na sya marunong magsalita, pero ngayon sinigawan nya pa ako. Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako dahil nagsalita na sya o malulungkot, dahil sa sakit na nararamdaman nya habang sinasabi nya ang mga katagang 'yon.

The exam was postponed for 2 months because of what happened, Lia's father was not yet given the information of Gray's death because it is still not safe to go outside the parameters of the school as the evil might still be lurking around and waiting to attack.

Trainings have been tripled since that day, but on Lia's case, she took it too serious to train even exceeding her maximum limit.

END OF FLASHBACK

I don't even know what to do anymore. But of course, even when she has given up on herself, I will never give up on her. Maybe one day, I can find a way to make her comeback to who she really is, kahit wala na si Gray, kahit nasa puso nya na lang sya...

"Lia, I know you can hear me.. I'll leave your packed dinner here, please eat it.. Aalis lang ako ng ilang araw pero babalik din ako agad. Sana pag balik ko, you'll be the Lia, Gray would be proud and happy to see and imagine.."

2 am.

It has been 8 hours since Drake left. I looked around and as usual, I'm the only one left training. This has been my daily routine, finishing at 2 in the morning, eating the dinner Drake has always brought with him, then sleeping, waking up at 4 am to go back in training without resting, well, my only rest is when I talk back to Drake when I am already pissed by his presence. I know he is just trying to be a good friend or classmate or whatever relationship we have but I don't want to be attached with anyone anymore if I know I can't protect them even from this curse.
