School started. Well, at least for me. Again. They started a few weeks ago. so it's self-evident that people saw me as the new girl.
The school wasn't that big, but it wasn't too small either. There was a small parking lot in front of the building with a few trees surrounding it. Once you enter, there is a main hallway full of lockers and a few rooms, two other hallways were placed in the middle, the right one led to the cafeteria, gymnasium, and auditorium while the left led to a field which I'm guessing was for the football games. I went straight ahead, ignoring a few looks that I got from a few of the students, not bothering to explore the rest of the school to get my schedule from the registrar office which was at the end of the hallway. I have a feeling this school is full of stereotypes and almost, book or movie-like. I honestly don't know what to feel about that.
A lady was behind the window as I walked up towards her, smiling. "Hi, I'm Angel Richards, I just transferred here. I was told to get my schedule here?" The lady smiled back at me "of course, dear, I'll just print it out" I nodded.
After a few minutes, she gave me my schedule and told me instructions on how to get to my new locker. I thanked her and went away. I saw other people sharing lockers as I passed by so when I got to my locker, boy am I glad I don't have to share it with someone. I placed my bag inside and got what I needed for class before closing it. I started to walk towards my first class.
106. English. Mr. Valentino. simple enough. I was scanning through my schedule when I bumped into something hard. more like someone. As cliche as it sounds, I dropped my books and file case causing it to open and scatter paper all over the floor.
Seriously? on my first day? God, how much of a cluts are you Angel? I thought. The day hasn't even started yet!
"Watch where you goin'!" A guy shouted at me. I was currently on the floor, rolling my eyes and picking up my stuff.
Rude much? Even though I was partially to blame, he was still at fault too. It takes two to tango.
"Aren't you gonna apologize?" He asked me. I noticed that people started to gather around, making it a huge deal. I internally groaned. The first day of school and I am already part of a scene because of this jerk. Yippee!
"What? Are you deaf? Or mute?" He asked again with irritation clear in his voice.
I couldn't help but check him out. He was quite good looking. seemed fit too. His jawline was very visible and his lips looked perfect. He was wearing black skinny jeans and a black leather jacket with a white v neck shirt underneath it. He looked like he came straight from a fictional world. If only he wasn't a complete ass. I just stood up and just walked away. But then I felt a pair of arms around my waist that pushed me toward the lockers. My back slammed on the metal and groaned in pain that was all too familiar.
"Listen here, nerd. Nobody walks away from me. Do you hear me? Nobody." He said as he stared into my eyes poking holes into it.
I was a few inches shorter than him but he was still towering over me. Oh hell no. I am not letting another person take charge of me. I snorted. "Sorry. But you're not the boss of me'' I stated then pushed him away. surprisingly, he almost went off balance. guess he wasn't that fit after all. He glared at me, clenching his perfectly lined jaw
"You're going to regret ever talking to me like that, nerd." I smirked, then mocked him by saying "I'm not afraid of you, nerd" His veins looked like it was about to pop. He pointed at me. "this isn't over yet." I just looked at him blankly then walked away. I could hear his footsteps stomping away from me. Thank God that was over. Suddenly a brunette haired girl came and tapped my shoulder
