“shh! you're gonna wake them!” I heard someone whisper. “but they look so cute!” another voice whispered. I snuggled onto my pillow and furrowed my eyebrows. Why is this damn pillow hard? “Shut up, Dave! they're waking up” I slowly opened my eyes, seeing no one there. I saw the television and realized I was in the living room. The hell am I doing here? And then it hit me.
Holy shit. I slept on the couch with Logan.
I looked up and saw him sound asleep. his right arm was under his head while his left wrapped tightly on my waist. He looked so peaceful. I smiled slightly and studied his face. the light hit his face perfectly, highlighting his features. his lips suddenly formed a small smile “done staring at me?” I blushed as he opened his eyes and looked down at me, causing me to sit up “shut up” I told him, making him laugh.
I felt him staring at me so turned to him and smirked. “Done staring at me?” he rolled his eyes before sitting up as well
“I wasn't actually. I couldn't help myself from staring at you. you're too beautiful” he told me, grinning. I felt my cheeks burn up “You keep on telling me that” he shrugged before glancing at me “that's because you are. and you deserve to know it” I glanced at him before leaning my elbows on my knees and burying my face in my hands.
“Shut up!” he chuckled before nudging me “Why, Angel Richards, am I making you blush?” he asked me playfully. I shook my head, still hiding my face, and exclaimed “No!” I heard him laugh and I glared at him before punching him on his arm.
“Awww!” we heard a voice behind us causing us to look where it came from. All of our friends, except Jana, Chris, and Claire, were there watching us. I saw Marc hit Ellie on the back of her head, making her glare at him. “How long have you guys been there?”Logan asked them with surprise in his voice. Charlie shrugged before smirking at us “Long enough”
I turned red and then grabbed a pillow, throwing it at them “Creepers!” I exclaimed as they laughed. “Come on, lovebirds, it's nine in the morning and you have yet to have breakfast,” Ellie said as they returned to the kitchen. I rolled my eyes before standing up. I reached out my hand to Logan and he took it.
We walked into the kitchen, hand in hand, finding them all sitting at the table with my parents. My mum saw us first and greeted us “good morning” my dad looked at us then his eyes darted to our hands. I quickly let go of Logan’s hand making him smirk.
“good morning you two. I see you guys enjoyed each other’s presence last night” dad said looking back and forth at us. Logan cleared his throat “Uh, yes David, I mean sir! I mean... nevermind” I snorted but quickly stopped and looked at the ground as I can feel Logan glare at me. I heard our friends snicker and I glanced at them. they all tried to hide their smiles but failed.
I silently laughed as I went to sit next to my mum. She pushed me a plate of pancakes and started to eat. I saw Logan sit in front of me and reached for a pancake but hit his hand. He pouted, making me roll my eyes. I threw him one and he grinned as he caught it
“Thank you,” he said before taking a bite. “so, what happened last night that caused you two to cuddle on the couch?” Dave asked us, wiggling his eyebrows. Logan glared at his friend while I sighed. I knew this conversation was coming. and I’m not sure if I even want to tell them what had happened. “Nothing,” Logan told them, glancing at me. I knew that he could tell that I didn't want to talk about it.
“Can I be honest with you? I don't believe you” Charlie said making the others laugh.
“Are you sure nothing happened? I mean there’s got to be a reason why you guys ended up sleeping on the couch together and cuddling, and looking super cute” Ellie said causing me to snap my head towards her “Besides the fact that you were hogging my bed, yeah. nothing happened” I said emphasizing the word ‘my’. Ellie rolled her eyes and I heard my parents laugh at us.
