Lunchtime on a very chill day so far was the best. I sat with Ellie one side Charlie and Jana sat on another. Right now, I and Ellie were facing each other while Jana and Charlie faced each other. We're debating whether Logan is planning on something or not.
"I'm just saying he's bound to do something sooner or-" Jana stopped. I looked at her and gave her a confused look
"Hey, nerd" Logan appeared next to me. I snapped my head toward him and automatically glared at him. I could see that Charlie, Jana, and Ellie were glaring at him too. "What the hell do you want?" I snapped at him. He put his hands up surrendering. "Whoa, the nerd's got some attitude." He grinned. I rolled my eyes then stated, "Just go away," He shrugged then stood up.
Good riddance. I rolled my eyes.
I confusingly turned to my wide-eyed new friends when I suddenly then felt liquid dripping all over my hair and shirt. Oh no, he fucking didn't! I could see and hear that people saw this, little act of Logan. I gasped in disbelief as I stood up and turned around facing him. I could feel my face burning up in embarrassment and anger.
"You jerk!" I shouted at him. He smirked then started to walk away. I glared at the back of his head. no way was he gonna get away that easily.
I grabbed Charlie's mac and cheese. "Hey, I was gon-" but I cut him off. "Hey Logan" Logan turned around and mac and cheese met his face. People gasped and loud laughter around us. He wiped off the cheese. You could see the redness of his cheeks. I smirked.
"Oops. My bad. I thought you were the garbage can." I said, smiling innocently. I grabbed my bag and started to walk away. "Come on guys" I could hear my friends following but then someone from afar shouting
"Food fight!"
Shit.
In no time, everyone was throwing food at each other. Jana quickly grabbed me by the arm as I and my friends ran away to escape. I felt a slimy type of food hit me on my left arm and I believe a very solid burger hit me on the side of my head. This is disgusting.
"Mister Mckinney! Logan started a food fight in the cafeteria! we were lucky enough to get out." Jana told our Maths teacher as soon as we got out. "Thank you, Julian." he quickly said then ran towards the cafeteria. It wasn't technically a lie. He started it. In my defense, he deserved it. I had to stick up for myself.
"That was fun and scary at the same time" Charlie started to shake his head, making food fall. I had to stop myself from gagging. "Ew, don't do that Charlie!" Ellie scolded him causing him to roll his eyes and purposely letting some hit her.
"What were you thinking?" Jana exclaimed at me giving me a motherly look. "Don't you ever do that again" she frowned.
"Oh come on Jana. That was fun. Yeah, it was scary but admit it, you enjoyed seeing Logan having a taste of his own medicine." Ellie said grinning at Jana. She gave her the same look she gave me but failed and chuckled. "Yeah... I did" she grinned making us laugh. Soon enough, students started to flood the hallways with odor from the mixture of food. We quickly 'cleaned' ourselves in the bathroom, even though it didn't completely wash everything out.
The rest of the day went quite well. Besides the fact that of me noticing that I had almost all my classes with Logan. I had to deal with him shooting daggers at me the whole time. After the last bell rang I shot up from my seat to escape from him just in case he had any plans to do something to me. I would rather deal with him tomorrow than today. Recalling the whole day, I could now accept that this is a war between me and Logan. I'm sure that my stay here wouldn't be quite as peaceful as I thought. Now, I made an enemy.
This is war, Logan Russet. This is war. Be prepared.
