"Oh, sorry" I laughed when I bumped into Logan, along the hallway. He chuckled as he caught my stuff preventing them from falling. "We should stop meeting like this," he said, giving me back my things. I grinned "Yeah, at least this time you didn't knock me out" I joked. He laughed and started to walk. "Are you going to the cafeteria?" he asked. I shook my head. "No, I'm on my way to my locker before going to the cafeteria to eat," I said. He nodded "I'll go with you if you want" he suggested. I smiled at him. "Up to you," I said, looking forward.
This is still very weird but it's nice that we are being nice to each other. We got to my locker and I stuffed it with my books. "Who's that?" Logan asked me, looking at something on my locker door.
I turned around and saw the picture of me, Jack, and my 'friends' back in Leeds. I'm going to admit, I've been kind of missing them, even though they already broke me. It's pathetic, I know. But as what people say, first love never dies. They were all my first love. the first real group of friends, first boyfriend, first heartbreaks.
I quickly closed my locker and smiled tightly at Logan. "No one," I said. He looked at me intently and shook his head. "They mean something to you. I could tell. You don't have to lie to me" he told me, frowning. I sighed and looked down. "They're just people from England. It's nothing'' I said ignoring his intense eyes. I heard him sigh. "If they're the ones who you were talking about last night, why not just tell me. I could tell you're still hurt. And that guy was that the dude who.. you know" he trailed off, crossing his arms. I turned to him and slowly nodded.
"Somehow, I still care about them. As crazy as that sounds, it's true. I know they broke my trust, my heart, heck my whole being, but I can't just remove them from my life. because they have come to mean so much to me. And it hurts to know that after all of those moments and memories we've created together that means a lot to me, meant nothing to them" I said, trying hard not to cry.
Logan reached to hold my hand and pulled me in for a hug. I froze, not expecting that. He wrapped his arms around my back. It took me a few seconds to relax and put my arms around his neck.
I felt my tears roll down. I've never had this kind of hug before. Besides my parents. Not once did Jack ever hugged me wholeheartedly. Even my so-called friends. I like the way it feels. To have someone who would be there. And it's crazy that the first person to ever feel that way was Logan. I wish I could have that feeling forever. It felt nice. We pulled away from each other and he chuckled at my face. He wiped away my tears, with a small smile on his lips.
"Please don't cry. I already told you, it doesn't suit you" he said, causing me to giggle. "There you go! All better" he said, grinning at me.
"Look, I don't know exactly what happened, but I just want you to know that those people, don't deserve you. From what I saw these past few weeks, I could tell that you are an amazing friend and anyone would die to have you in their group, they would love and adore you. Don't settle with people who won't and don't see your value." he said. I furrowed my eyebrows, pressing my lips together. "I have never expected you to be so wise" I teased him. He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, well don't get used to it. this is a one-time thing" he told me.
I chuckled. "I doubt that," I said smirking at him. He shook his head before grabbing my arm and pulling me towards the cafeteria.
"Rude much?" I asked, laughing a little. "You were being dramatic and we're already late to lunch," he said, glancing at me. "You wanted to come and wait for me, remember?" I shot back. He sighed as we approached our lunch table where all of our friends were there. We sat next to each other and he let go of my arm. "Well, I was just being nice. And I figured you'd want some company" he said, shrugging one shoulder. I rolled my eyes "Yeah but you didn't have to. As I said, it was up to you" I said, accepting the tray that was being pushed towards me from Jana.
"As I said," he mocked me "I was being nice"
"I have no idea what is going on but I'm liking this" Dave piped in, motioning at Logan and I "Where have you guys been?" Claire asked us with a smirk creeping onto her lips.
"I waited for Angel to fix up her locker but she was being dramatic so it took a while" Logan started. I quickly cut him off before he could add another sentence "You know what I am glad that I became dramatic because I got to witness-" suddenly a hand was placed on my mouth, preventing me from saying anything else. "shhh" Logan eyed me before flashing a fake smile at our amused and confused friends. "I'm just going to let that go because I am not sure if I want to even know," Chris told us.
I licked Logan's hand, causing him to pull away in disgust. "Ew you little-" I started speaking so he would just be annoyed even more. "It's nothing. I guess it's just between us two because both of us have something that does not want to be... public" I said, turning to Logan who was glaring at me.
"Why'd you lick my hand?" He asked me, rubbing his hand on his pants. "Because you weren't removing it from my mouth" I simply said before biting into a huge burger. "I was gonna let go you know?" he said, glaring at me. "You took too long," I said with a mouth-full. He cringed and shook his head, looking down to eat.
"By the way, how was your date last night?" Ellie asked Logan and me. The rest of the table was very interested in this topic. All eyes were on us. I groaned. "It's not a date," Logan started. I nodded. "I thought I already explained it to you guys?" I asked them, tilting my head a little. "You did. But we want to know the details" Charlie said, grinning at us. "It's nothing. really, guys, it was quite uneventful." Logan explained. "Besides the fact that you almost killed us," I added. "I did not! You were just being scared" he teases me with a smirk on his lips. I snorted. "I wasn't scared. I was... concerned for our safety. I mean we were going really fast." I defended earning a few snickers from our friends.
"You dirty bastards!" Logan scolded them. I furrowed my eyebrows. "What are you all going on about?" I asked. "Don't even ask," Logan said placing a hand on my back. "So you were going really fast, huh? Logan, you need to be more careful next time" Dave smirked at him. "What's going on?" I whined. "Oh you don't wanna know," Jana sighed.
"Correction, you don't need to know." Marc, who is another friend of Logan's, joined in the conversation for the first time. I'm guessing he doesn't quite talk that much.
"You guys better stay away from Angel," Logan told his friends. "Why? So you could have her all to yourself? We want to be friends with her too" Dave whined like a little kid. "No, but because I want to at least keep her small piece of innocence that she has left," he said, cautiously looking at him. I placed my hands on my head. "Guys, I don't understand whats going on" I stated, pouting a little. "Just drop it," Logan told me while shaking his head. I sighed and let it go.
"Going back to the 'details' you guys want to know, I don't think there's anything else. We went to the coffeehouse on logan's motorcycle" I stared to enumerate the things that happened but then they started to snicker again. seriously, what are they laughing-
OH... oh... shit
"Oh bloody hell, you disgusting little shits" I exclaimed covering my face. They started to laugh out loud with Logan groaning in the background. "So tell us" Dave started but me and Logan cut him off. "Shut up!" we shouted.
oh, what a wonderful day.
