"Oh my goodness! Look at you!" Ellie exclaimed at me looking at my almost 9 months bump.
Today we're going to celebrate my and Logan's first wedding anniversary. Yep. We're married! And we're having a baby soon! Logan proposed for one year after Claire and Charlie's wedding. Then we got married the year after that. And here we are! It was pretty awesome. We were at a resort that we rented for the night. It was just a quaint little one-story house with a pool and events space. I and Logan had breakfast and lunch together so when dinner came it would be our friends' time. We just planned to have fun and just spend time with each other.
I smiled. "Hey, where's the kids?" I asked her. "Oh they're at my parents" she replied. Ellie and Liam have three kids named Carl, Katherine, and Yana while Claire and Charlie have twins, Anthony and Anna, alongside their corgi named Bugsey. Jana and Chris aren't planning to have kids until next year. they think that they aren't ready yet to be parents but honestly, among all of us, they're the most qualified to have babies. Dave and Holly on the other hand are planning to adopt kids since they have recently found out that they can't conceive. It was very devastating for them but thankfully they pulled through it quickly.
"You look amazing! When are you due?" Claire asked me as we sat down on the benches and tables beside the pool where we girls were. The lads were doing something inside the house so I have no idea what they were doing but I know that Logan wasn't with them. Honestly, I don't know where the heck my husband is but whatever. He said he'll be back soon and I trust him.
"5 weeks" I started with a smile forming on my lips. I was excited and nervous at the same time. "Wow! Look at you!" Charlie exclaimed at me hugging Claire from behind. I turned around and saw the lads coming out, with smiles on their faces.
"Whoa! You're fat!" Dave shouted at me, causing me to glare at him. Chris, being himself, slapped the back of Dave's head. "Ow!" Dave exclaimed, glaring at Chris.
"Alright, can you guys not start?" Kyle, Marc's fiance, warned the two boys. Yes. Marc is gay. he has been for a really long time now. when he came out to us we flipped out. in a good way though. Kyle was also a DJ and he met Marc when Kyle's partner on the radio had to leave for a day since he was sick so Marc was a substitute. since then they were inseparable.
Dave and Chris started to complain about Liam's laughter clear in the background. I chuckled at them.
Man, they still act like children. I thought smiling
"You guys... shut up, will you? And honey, seriously? Since when did you turn into a five-year-old?" Jana asked Chris. We laughed as he sighs before starting to sulk into his seat.
"By the way, where's Logan?" Marc asked me. "Oh yeah, I thought he was coming?" Holly, Dave's wife, added. They all turned to me and I replied with a shrug. "He did. He's just around here, somewhere. I think." I stated.
I didn't know where he was and why he wasn't there with us. They all went from laughing idiot of friends to confused investigators quickly. They all started to ask me a bunch of questions and a lot of stupid commentaries
"Are you guys okay?"
"Did you guys fight?"
"What happened between you two?"
"Oh my god, what if he's cheating"
"I will cut his balls off if he is"
"I will beat his ass up"
I groaned and slammed my face on the table in frustration.
"Hey what's going on?" I heard Logan's voice from behind. I sighed in relief. Still not raising my head from the table, I explained what was happening to him "Our idiotic friends over here think that you're cheating on me and a bunch of other bullshit" Logan laughed at me while he sat down next to me "Whoa, language missy. Don't want our kid to adapt to that." He teased me, making me groan.
