Chapter 16: December 31, 2014

It's new year's eve and 6 days after I told Logan how I felt. 6 days of him ignoring me. yep. he's ignoring me. I knew telling him would ruin things between us. I can only imagine how awkward it will be when we finally see each other in a few days. But for now, I was in London with Alana and Carl to see the fireworks at the Thames. I sighed as I saw my two cousins come to me with a new drink in hand. they have been getting a new cocktail each hour. I don't know what has been going on in their minds, but I'm convinced that they are as crazy as hell.

"Ok, you have to try this, Angel!" Alana told me for like the millionth time tonight. I wrinkled my nose and said "Pass" they both groaned. "Come on, live even just a little babe! It's new year's freaking eve!" Carl exclaimed. I rolled my eyes at him

"Yeah, and we have like what 5 hours before midnight, so you have plenty of time left for me to get drunk" I smiled at them innocently. it was now their turn to roll their eyes. "Look, we know about how Logan is ignoring you for the past few days because you told him that you had feelings for him. So right now, we're doing you a favor of finding a new hot guy for you to hook up with so you can forget about what's-his-face" Alana told me. I sighed

"Look, I appreciate you guys for that, but I want to know why he decided to ignore me first before I start moving on. I don't want to jump into conclusions." I told them. they hummed in response. We were in a club near the London Bridge. We talked for an hour and a half, laughing a few times and they flirted with a few guys. some even tried to hit on me but I swear them off. I was lost in thought when Carl said something to me.

"Hey Angel, a hot guy is staring at you for a solid ten minutes and I think you should talk to him," he said, smirking as he looked at the guy from our right. I'm guessing he was seated at the bar. I shook my head and took a sip from my drink not bothering to look at the guy. "No thanks, he could stare away because that's all he's gonna get," I said. Alana took a look at the dude "You sure? because it looks like he knows you." she started still looking at the guy. "Yeah, I mean just give it a try, and if you don't, I will," Carl added. I huffed and decided to take a look. as I turned my head, I instantly stopped.

What the actual hell? What is he doing here? I thought.

I stared at him and he stared right back. He flashed me a smile and I forced a smile since I was still in a state of shock. Please tell me I'm dreaming. there is no way he is here right now. He got up and started to walk to our booth. "Oh my god, he's coming towards us!" Carl exclaimed. He reached us and stopped in front of my side. I looked up to me and he was smiling at me widely.

"Hey" he greeted me. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I just looked at him in shock. He chuckled awkwardly "Uhm, I think he's talking to you, babe," Alana said tapping me on the shoulder. I snapped out of my mind and blinked fastly. "I'm sorry I'm just.." I trailed off, making him smirk. "Sorry love, Angel here tends to lose it when a hot guy talks to her, I think she forgot to take her medications," Carl told him, causing me to turn to him and glare. "Oh shut up, Carl" I snapped at him. He laughed and I heard him chuckle too. I faced him and shook my head.

"Am I dreaming or are you here?" I asked him. He grinned and sat next to me. "It must be a pretty damn good dream then," he said looking me straight in the eyes. I giggled and turned to my confused cousins. "guys, this is Logan. Logan these are my two horrible cousins, Alana and Carl" I introduced them to each other.

"Hey!" the two of them complained making us laugh. "It's nice to meet you guys!" He greeted them. Carl smirked at us "So you're Logan huh?" he said studying him. Logan looked at him confusingly "Uh, yeah? I think?" he turned to me as I smacked Carl at the back of his head. It was silent for a few moments.

Logan nudged me by the arm "Do you want to get out of here?" he whispered into my ear, sending tingles all over my body. I nodded slightly and looked at my cousins "Hey guys, do you mind if we go out for a bit?" I asked them, causing them to grin and smirk. "Nope. Go ahead" Carl said, eying the two of us in delight. "Yeah just take your time. We'll meet you guys at midnight. that is if we ever see each other again tonight" Alana added making me blush. We stood up and bid each other goodbye.
