"Rex's unconscious. Get the salted ice water."
I had to pay my little pal another visit since we needed more information.
We needed to know how to boycott the system at the port.
With that information, Kent, Jason and I could recover Amber whilst the others got Maggie.
Luke's intel about the moving of Amber was confirmed by our trusted source.
She was being moved.
The convoys were being set up as we speak.
The Vipers would discharge most it's members to deliver Amber to the port and bring in merchandise on their way back.
Two to three guys would board the ship with her and one would stay in the south pole.
We needed to finish acquiring both Amber and Maggie before the two return in men realise that Amber is not on the ship.
They would have to reach the island before they could make contact with anyone to report that she was missing.
That should give us enough time to perform both operations swiftly.
All that's left to do is to wait out the correct timing.
Until then we must keep proper tabs on everyone involved in this exchange.
Which unfortunately, included Luke.
The guys seemed fine with the proposal to take him in for his own protection.
Even my father wanted him to be kept safe.
I couldnt figure out what wss so important about him.
He's just a snotty nosed brat.
But nevertheless he might have important Intel.
So until our extraction tomorrow, we had to find a way to subtly take Luke under our wing.
If he disappeared randomly, it would be really suspicious.
We needed an alby.
In these types of scenarios, people usually fake their own deaths, boring right?
Wrong.
Faking a death is hard work.
If done correctly, everything will go according to the desired plan.
The first thing a fake death would need is a creditable viewer.
If no ones there to witness the death, did it really happen?
Next would be a strong actor.
Simply because the death faker will actually be shot with a real bullet, a few inches from his heart.
That would allow the witness to truly believe that the faker is actually dead.
We would also need people to actually be killed to add to the take away message.
Our mode of transportation would need to be untraceable.
And our escape route untrackable.
For the plan I created, we would use three ice cream vans from the parlor which was owned by my dad. His ownership was totally unknown so the vehicles couldn't be traced back to us in any way.
We would use one to get Maggie to the base, one to dump the bodies in the cove and the other to become a decoy.
There was a chance that the decoy may not be the vehicle that the Vipers might come after initially so the van with Maggie would camp out in our off base garage until Kent, Jason and I bring in Amber.
Meanwhile, Evan will carry Luke to the base after he is finished planting the evidence to make it look that Luke's body was dumped and sailed away into the vast whirlpool of the blue abyss.
Once I got Amber, we'd all go to the base and lay low until my father gives us an order to complete.
He has to also give an response about Luke joining the gang.
If his answer is what I think it will be, we would have to go to headquarters in the north pole.
Luke would also need to be filed in on our plan.
But I'll left that to Kent.
It was his sister after all.
As long as Luke was around I couldn't have Amber to myself.
On the other island I will be in my complete domain. If it was up to me, he'd never see the light of day.
I guess he could count his blessings.
While he had fingers.

"Board the boat as normal. Don't call my cell. They might be able to track the signal."
Gina nodded. It took lots of hours and guts to tell them everything.
They barely believed me.
Nevertheless they put all their trust in me on the line and packed bags to go.
Lilianne seemed to be happy to have them.
Getting through the port should be easy for them, as long as they don't seem suspicious.
They left this island already, so their record is fresh on hand.
It'll less than a day for them to arrive.
"But how will you come over?"
Gina looked up to me with a worried look on her face.
I sent her a sad smile and she instantly understood.
"You aren't planning on coming over...aren't you?"
Got me there.
"I'm going over to the ba-"
"No Luke! What if they kill you?!"
"I have to smooth things over..."
James spoke up.
"Luke this isn't a bump on a fenter... fixing it would be no easy task."
"I know. But it's my job-"
She tried to interrupt me but I spoke over her.
"It's my job to fix this. I will fix this and then you guys can come back home. Okay?"
James squeezed Gina's shoulder as he hugged her from the side.
They both nodded.
Now all was left for me to do is to actually grow the balls to drive back over there.
That was no easy task.
Even if I did grow them, Kim would probably cut them off as punishment.
I grabbed my bag and headed to my car.
I could do this.
All I needed to do was pretend to be sorry and win her over.
That was simple. Right?
I hope.
Getting past the surveillance cameras wouldn't be hard as long as I called her on my way over.
I banged my head a few times on the steering wheel before starting up the car.
This was all my fault.
And now I somehow found myself involved with that seemed to be another gang.
Earlier Ambers brother called and gave me pretty strict orders.
Orders that  I had to follow.
My life literally depended on it.
I didn't think he could be such a scary man.
He told me exactly what to do and say and how to do it as well as when and where.
I could only assume that Kent was part of the Vipers rival gang or knew someone who was.
They couldn't be trying to get Amber since I clearly told them that she was being moved. The only person they could be interested in is Keith's girlfriend, Maggie.
That would mean that Amber was being put on the back burner.
Just the thought made me grit my teeth together.
Maybe if I helped them get Maggie back, they would help me find Amber.
But for now I could only hope and fulfill what was asked of me.
If I didnt, I wouldn't be alive to even think about looking for Amber.
With that last thought, I pulled out my phone and dialed in some digits.
"Hey babe! I'm so sorry... it was all just a scheme to surprise you!"
"Surprise me?"
"Yeah!
I'm moving in babe!"
