Mr. Ben walked into the noisy class with a stoic as he watched the students rush to their sits while those who haven't seen him yet continued talking and playing.
Some were even playing football and cards. He Cleared his throat and watched as they froze before hurriedly shoving the cards to their lockers and even sitting on them.
He rolled his eyes at their attempts to look innocent and walked to the front of the class. He placed the register book on the first desk, as they all stood to greet him.
"Good morning sir" they all chorused
"What's good about the morning when the seniors students are behaving like the children in kindergarten? What examples are you setting for your juniors when you are the noise maker of the school?" He lectured
They all looked at him, some rolled their eyes, some listened attentively while others wished they could just disappear and get back when he is done with the lecture.
"We are sorry sir" the class captain replied.
"You are not sorry henry, if you were you would have given me a list of noise makers, but you haven't written one it means you were also making noise and disrupting the peace of this school" Mr. Ben replied as he stared at the class captain who lowered his gave.
"Take a seat and when I call your name you better answer loudly or else..." He warned as he opened the book and started calling their names one after the other followed by a loud "present".
When he was done he closed the book and faced them. "As you all know an inspector will be visiting today from the Lagos state ministry of education, I need you all to be on your best behaviour. I don't want a repeat of what I saw earlier, you all better behave and bring out your books and past questions before your teacher shows up"
They all brought out their books as he stared at them one after the other before he walked out of the classroom.
Not ten minutes later everyone scattered as they went back to their previous positions.
Mary, angela, anna and vivian were playing ludo.

The class was as loud as a market place. They were all enjoying themselves but the class captain had a deep frown on his face.
He liked having fun but not all the time and the words that Mr. Ben spoke just minutes ago was still ringing in his ears.
He stood up with anger in his eyes.
"All of you shut up!" He angrilly yelled, the whole class looked in his direction
"Didn't you all hear what mr ben just said? If you won't respect yourself and keep quiet I'll write the names of noise makers" Henry said.
Serious of hisses and insults went throughout the class as they ignored him and went back to their games.
