Chapter 22

ShyAnne's POV

*Three Months Later*

I woke up and stretched my arms out, throwing the blankets off of me. I was staying at Andy's for a few days and today was my day to go home because I had work tomorrow. I looked over at Andy to see that he was awake, but was cringing in pain.

"Andy, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, my side just hurts really bad." He groaned, his hand holding his right side. "Fuck." He said, rushing out of bed and trying to run to the bathroom but falling and crying out in pain.

"Andy!" I exclaimed, rushing over to him.

"I'm going to throw up, please just help me into the bathroom." He begged. Since he was so large, I basically dragged him by his arms to get him in as quickly as I could and propped him up so he was leaning against the toilet. He threw up the contents in his stomach almost as soon as I got him all set up. I sat with him for a few minutes, rubbing his back as he tried to catch his breath. He threw up a few more times before deciding he was done. I helped him to his feet and he started to walk but doubled over in pain.

"That's it, I'm taking you to the ER." I said, guiding him to the bed and helping him sit down. I pulled on a pair of sweats and a T-shirt. I helped Andy get dressed and then walked him out to the living room.

"I need to sit down." He said and I helped him to the couch. "Please get me a bowl, I'm going to throw up again." He said. I rushed to the kitchen, grabbed a large mixing bowl and placed it in his lap. Again, he immediately threw up.

"Fuck, how am I going to get you down the stairs. Can I just call an ambulance?"

"Yes, please. I just need help!" He started to cry. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialed 9-1-1.

"Hello 9-1-1, what's your emergency?"

"Hello, I need an ambulance right away." I said, reciting Andy's address to her.

"Okay, and what's the nature of the emergency?"

"My boyfriend woke up with a sharp pain in his right side that gets worse when he walks and is vomiting."

"It sounds like his appendix. The ambulance is on the way."

"Thank you." I said and hung up. I sat next to Andy and rubbed his back as he kept throwing up. Finally, the ambulance arrived and they loaded Andy onto a gurney, giving him a bag to puke into. The paramedics left the apartment with Andy and I followed them.

"Go ahead and head to the hospital. The doctors will update you when they can." A paramedic told me before he closed the ambulance doors. I got into my car and drove towards the hospital, the ambulance obviously speeding off ahead of me. I got to the hospital and sat in the waiting room for about an hour before a doctor walked out.

"Family for Andy Biersack?" I stood up and walked over to him.

"I'm his girlfriend." I said.

"Well, Mr. Biersack had a ruptured appendix which is why he was so sick. We took it out and he should be able to go home in two days as long as no complications arise." The doctor explained.

"Can I go see him?" I asked.

"Yes, but he's probably not woken up from the anesthesia yet. Room 2208."

"Thank you." I said, grabbing a visitors pass and walking down the hallway to Andy's room. I opened the door to see him laying in the bed.

"Oh Andy." I sighed, the door closing behind me. I dragged a chair over to his bedside and sat down. I grabbed his hand and rubbed my thumb over the top of it. I sat in silence for a few moments before pulling out my phone and scrolling through social media.
