Chapter 91: Babies' First Christmas

ShyAnne's POV

*3 Weeks Later*

"Hello!" Amy said as she opened up the back door of the car.

"Hi Amy!" I said, turning around in my seat as she made her way to the third row.

"Your new car is nice." She said as she took her seat in the back.

"Thank you, it definitely fits our lifestyle better." I laughed.

"Hey there." Chris said as he began to climb in.

"Hello." I said as he made his way to the back to sit with his wife. Andy closed the back hatch and walked back to the driver's side, getting in.

"How was your flight?" I asked as Andy pulled away from the curb.

"It was fine, packed of course." Amy laughed.

"Oh definitely with it being this close to Christmas." I said. "Thank you so much for coming out."

"Of course, it's nice to break from your normal routine." Chris said with a smile. I kept talking with them until we got home. I quickly got out of the car and pulled Eliza out of her seat so it was easier for Andy's parents to get out. I went to the other side and unstrapped Elijah. Andy opened up the back hatch and pulled out his parents' luggage while his parents got out of the car.

"I'll take her for you." Amy said, appearing at my side. I handed Eliza to her so I could pull Elijah out of the car. I closed the door and walked up to the front door, everyone following me. I unlocked the door and walked in, putting Elijah down in his bouncy seat. Amy put Eliza in her seat next to him while Andy and his dad carried the suitcases up the stairs. Amy and I sat on the couch and talked until the guys rejoined us.

There were still a few days until Christmas but Andy's parents had decided to fly in a few days early so it wasn't as quick of a trip. Andy's cousin Joe will be here for Christmas since he lives out here so his parents are flying in soon. Andy has a few more family members flying out, but obviously not that much since they all live across the country. My parents are driving down on the 23rd along with two of my aunt and uncles, my grandparents, and some of my cousins. So, it'll be a full house but it will be nice to spend the holiday with both sides of our families.

We sat around and talked before deciding to go out to dinner. We agreed on Olive Garden, packed up the babies, and left the house. I was so grateful for this bigger car because we were able to fit everyone in it comfortably. We got to the restaurant and were seated, the waitress bringing two high chairs. We placed the babies in and buckled them in. The four of us looked at the menu and decided on what we wanted.

"So, the twins' first birthday is coming up." Amy mentioned.

"That is it, just a few months." I said, putting my menu down.

"Have you guys thought about having more kids?" She asked.

"Mom!" Andy groaned.

"We've been so busy with these two, we, or at least I, haven't even thought about that." I laughed. "I think I might want more kids someday but I don't think I'll even start to think about that until they're at least two. I'll also be content if these are the only kids we have." I shrugged. "I'm not even sure if I'm strong enough to handle any more miscarriages."

"Well it seems like you've put more thought into this than I have." Andy chuckled. "Haven't even began to think about more kids. Our hands are full enough with these two."
