ShyAnne's POV

"It's nice to see you again." My doctor greeted me as she walked in the room.

"It's nice to see you too." I said, swinging my legs while I sat on the table, the paper crinkling underneath me slightly.

"So, what brings you in today?" She asked, sitting on her stool.

"Well, Andy and I want to start trying for another baby so I just wanted to see what my chances were."

"Sure thing, can I get you to lay back?" She asked as she went to go wash her hands.

"Alright, so everything looks good. As expected, you have developed some more fibroids, but we can do a procedure to remove those to give you the best chance possible." She said, taking off her gloves and washing her hands again.

"Okay, I've also been looking into IVF."

"Oh, okay." She said, a little taken back as she sat back down on her stool.

"What do you think about the idea?" I asked nervously.

"Well I'm sure you've seen how expensive and how unreliable it can be."

"Yes, Andy and I are fully prepared. With two toddlers running around, it'll take forever to get pregnant normally."

"Understood." She laughed slightly. She then proceeded to give me the full rundown of exactly how it works. "So, does it still seem like something you want to go through with?"

"Yes." I said, nodding. Luckily, she was certified to do IVF so I didn't have to go to a different doctor.

"Alright, we'll set you up to get rid of the fibroids, let you heal, and then go through with the IVF." She explained.

"Sounds like a plan." I said with a smile. She left the room, allowing me to get dressed and leave myself. I made my next appointment and got in the car, heading home.

"So, how'd it go?" Andy asked as soon as I walked in the door.

"They're going to remove some fibroids and then we can go ahead with IVF. Here's a brochure she gave me." I said, handing it to him.

"Ah, no way! I have to shoot it in a cup again?"

"I mean, how'd you think they get it?" I giggled slightly.

"I dunno." He shrugged and I just giggled again.
