Chapter 63: Talk

ShyAnne's POV

*One Month Later*

I sighed as I threw yet another negative pregnancy test in the trash. At this point, I don't even tell Andy I'm taking them anymore. It's nothing but disappointment anyway. I washed my hands and walked out of the bathroom.

"Babe, I need to talk to you about something." I said, walking into the living room where Andy was sitting.

"Me too." He said, catching me off guard. "You go first." He said as I sat next to him on the couch.

"I think we should be more strategic about this whole baby making process."

"What do you mean?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.

"Look, I know constantly having sex has got to be exhausting for you, it definitely is for me. I think we should start tracking my ovulation and the few days when I'm the most fertile, we go hard. We give it all we got. The rest of the month, we just have sex when we want to." I suggested.

"I like the idea, but how do we go about that?"

"I can buy ovulation tests at the store and use an app to track my cycle."

"Okay, sounds good to me." He smiled.

"What did you want to talk about?" I asked him.

"I think we should buy a house." He said with a nervous smile.

"What! Andy!"

"Look, hear me out. I'm sick of living in this apartment, I lived in it way before I even met you ShyAnne. I'm ready to be a home owner and not fight over parking spots with neighbors. I'm ready to not hear people above us having sex. I want to raise our baby in a house with a big yard for them to play. I've been saving up for a while and I want to get this out of the way before the expenses of a baby come along."

"Andy, I don't know." I sighed.

"Look, I know how you are with decisions and change and everything. Talk it over with your therapist, take time to think about it, whatever you need to do. Just know this is something I really want."

"Okay baby, I'll think about it." I said with a smile, leaning over to kiss his lips.
