Execution

Her breath hitched as she cringed upon remembering the letter she had written about two months ago. She was waiting for the right time.

To spend alone in this meaningless world.

To conduct her own execution.

That's what she believed. Being nurtured upon the lies and the rumors that was fed by the bastards of her ex classmates. She almost believed in every single on of them. It was hard to sleep at night.

I rather hang by the noose.

Knowing there was no one in her penthouse, she was only accompanied by the ticks of the clock and the blowing breeze that often brushed by her figure.

Despite her wealth she remained humble.

Money can't buy happiness.

Whispers filled my ears.

She used to think that was a lie.

How ironic with the fact her heart had been swallowed in the dark pit.

Drowning.

I walk my path alone.

"Mom should I keep this ladybug?"

"Sweetie if you were the ladybug would you want to be captured?"

A simple interaction it had seemed.

The mother never knew the impact upon her daughter's small world. Being so young yet so kind.

What childish innocence.

Engulfed in bliss ignorance.

Her eyes wide as she stared with devastating blue black orbs.

Staring back at her as he screamed with his hand outstretched in a hope to grasp her own.

But the universe never allowed it.

Memories flashed through her mind.

I regret nothing.

She didn't scream when she fell to her death.

She looked up to the grey sky as she reminisced on how she and Tanaka first met. Her eyes didn't held tears as the familiar dark clouded her mind once again.

Just another bad day.

She gazed upon the cliff just a few feet from her. Her whole body felt numb. Thoughts pondering in multiple choices regarding of 'what ifs'. She pressed her lips together in disdain and buried her head in her own slim arms.
