The Dare Game

Emilys POV.

Sunlight was streaming onto my face as I woke up. Me and Ashton had both fallen asleep on my bed. He was sitting up, leaning against my wall and I was taking up the rest of the double bed. It was at least 11.30.

I loved sleeping.

"Ashton, wake up. You have to be at home before noon." My morning voice sounded groggy. I kicked him with my foot. "Ash, we don't want a replay of last time." With this, his eyes shot open and he lifted himself of my bed and onto the floor.

Last time his mum had turned up and thought we were dating. She then gave me a talk about how I couldn't hurt her son as he was so fragile. He was so embarrassed. I just laughed the whole way through.

He glanced in the mirror and ran a hand through his hair. "Thanks Em, see you tomorrow." He smiled at me before walking out the door. I heard him say thanks to my dad before the front door was opened and closed.

My dad was cooking breakfast as I walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a plate and he put two slices of bacon and an egg on my plate. I was starving.

"Ashton's a nice bloke." My dad said.

"I know." I said truthfully. He was lovely.

I stepped on the bus and tucked my straight brown hair behind my ear as I paid for my ticket. I could see Mia waving furiously at me.

"How was your weekend?" Mia was an amazing girl. We were really close. She was just a tad overboard.

"It was great!" She replied as I sat down. "He finally asked me out!" She squealed.

Mia had been crushing on this guy, Josh, for quite a while. It was unlike her.

"That's awesome Mia." I said smiling. She talked about him all the way to school.

As we got off the bus I saw Ashton and his friend Michael leaning on a wall at the front of the school.

"Hey guys." Me and Mia greeted them.

"Em, come here." Ash said as Michael and Mia walked past. "I have your first dare."

"Oh god." I got a bit nervous.

"I dare you to kiss Luke. Don't say anything, just walk up and do it."

Luke was another one of Ashton's friends. But there was a slight difference. I had a major crush on him.

"Ashton.."

"Give up already?" He asked, raising his eyebrow at me.

"No way. Okay, I'll do it."
