The Dare Game

Emilys POV.

I opened my locker while explaining to Mia what happened.

"I'm grounded, nothing big." I laughed, even though, on the inside, I was still quite upset. I had ruined my dads trust.

"My mum wasn't as annoyed as I thought she would be. Sure she was angry, but it was my dad who surprised me. He laughed and laughed. Said there's a first time for everything. Apparently if it happens again, I'm in trouble." Mia smiled. "At least we had a good day, right?"

"Yeah, I actually really did." I smiled back at her as we made our way to our first class, that we had together. "God I hate art though."

"Me too." Said Luke as he wrapped his arms around my waist. He kissed my neck firmly as we stopped at our class.

"Meet you inside." Mia winked at me. "Bye Luke."

"Bye Mia." He spun me around and pushed me against the wall next to the door. "God, why did you have to get grounded?"

"Sorry." I whispered, "I gotta go babe." He pecked my lips and squeezed my hands lightly before he turned to walk away. I turned around to walk into my class as I saw Ashton heading down the hall.

"Hey." He said, walking past me.

"Hi." I replied quietly. I let out an angry groan once he was out of earshot. "What did I do to annoy you." I grimaced.

I sat in my room with my door shut, singing loudly.

"Staaaay wiiiith meee. Stay with me, stay with me." I belted out, laughing at myself. Something hit my window and I froze.

I was home alone and paranoid. It happened again and I couldn't move.

"Em!" I heard being shouted. I let out a huge sign and turned around to see Luke standing in the rain, at my window. I beamed at him, before running over and opening it.

"Hey."

"Hey." We stood watching each other.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

"Oh, yeah." I helped him climb through. "My dads not home, you could have used the front door." I laughed.

"How was I meant to know that?" He chuckled taking his jacket off. He threw it over the chair on my desk and shook his head, like a dog drying itself.

"Gods, it's cold outside." He said as I sat in my bed and pulled the covers over me.

"Yeah, it is winter." I laughed. He jumped onto my bed and snuggled into me. I gasped as he was freezing.

"Luke! Get off me!" I said between breaths.

"But I'm cold." He said frowning and putting his head on my lap. I heard the front door slam and footsteps nearing my room.

"Shit." Luke exclaimed as he rolled off the bed and under my bed. I sat up properly, pulling a random book from my bedside table. The door opened and my dad poked his head around.

"You okay Em?" He asked.

"Yeah, just tired." I said yawning.

"Why's your window open?" He asked walking towards it to close it.

"Needed fresh air, I was feeling a little sick."

"Oh. Night hun." He kissed my forehead before turning the light off and closing the door. Luke quickly appeared by my side again.

"I think I bruised my arm when I fell off your bed." He whispered. I giggled. He wrapped his arms around me and I shivered as he was still quite cold. I buried my head in his chest.

"Why are you even here?" I asked him curiously.

"I wanted to spend time with my girlfriend. Is that okay?" He said playing with the silver chain around my neck.

My phone lit up and I checked the name.

"Who is it?" He whispered again.

"Ashton." I whispered back slightly surprised before putting my phone back and burying my head even further into his embrace.

"Why don't you answer it? You haven't talked to him in weeks." He told you.

"I thought you wanted to spend time with me?" I asked, already regretting that I had put my phone down. I wanted more than anything to find out what he wanted, but I had missed my chance.

"I do." Luke said finally, pressing his lips to my cheek.

I sighed, not knowing what was going on with me.

"I won't be here when you wake up though beautiful."

"That's okay." I whispered before finally closing my eyes and breathing in his scent.
