A white tom padded to a nearby tree, he sat down watching the starry sky above him. From some bushes a black and red tom trotted over to him, his brown eyes grew wide with fear.

"You wanted to talk to me?" he mewed, dipping his head in greetings.

"Yes Redstar." The white tom meowed. "You have to share your prey."

"We couldn't possibly!" Redstar retorted, he curled his lips back revealing his sharp fangs. "Prey is as scarce as ever, yes. But we need to eat too!"

"I know." the tom meowed, his eyes glittered. "But this is for the best of all Clans." he curled his tail over his paws.

"I'll think Coralstar." Redstar sighed.

"Good." Coralstar replied briskly. "Then come back next half-moon."

"I will." Redstar meowed, when he padded away, he growled under his breath. Of course BreezeClan begs! he hissed in his mind.

A lilac colored she-cat ran up a slope, her fur brushed trees that she passed. She lifted her head in greetings as she saw two other cats, a small dark ginger she-cat and a big white tom. They nodded in greetings, Lavenderspot felt the warm breeze almost carry her off her paws.

She padded forward, hearing water trickle down the waterfall. The droplets of water echoed as she entered the cave. More clearly she saw the pool of water, the two cats had padded over to sit down by it.

Lavenderspot shivered, the warm air had now been shut off by the moist air of the cave. The she-cat flicked her tail over to the water, Lavenderspot nodded. She crouched down by the pool, biting back a yowl of the icy water.

Lavenderspot saw a ginger she-cat, her green eyes blazed through a beautiful forest. She tensed as she saw the she-cat do stuff that wasn't necessary. Killing cats, Lavenderspot gasped in disbelief.

Lavenderspot pulled her head back, she licked her nose. Twisting around she faced the two cats, they had sat down with their tail covering their paws.

"Thank you Deersong, Whitefoot." she meowed to them. "Is there anything I should do?"

Deersong stood up. "You cannot change the future Lavenderspot." she warned.

"What's the point of telling me if there is nothing I can do to help?" Lavenderspot mewed hastily.

"Warn her." Whitefoot addressed, his voice stern and cold. "Try to walk in her dreams."

Lavenderspot nodded. "I will." she promised. "Anything else?"

Deersong nodded. "Nothing else, remember 'There is stuff you want, but not stuff you need. When you want to get what you want, you end up hurting others'."

Lavenderspot recited the prophecy in her mind, she meowed her good-byes to the two cats. Running out of the cave, she had to warn her . . .
