She climbed the slippery rock, cautions if she would fall. Streampaw wriggled behind her, she let out a hiss of annoyance.
"Move faster furball!" she snarled at her. "I can't stand here all day!"
Foxpaw let out a stifled sigh, she wanted to show the older apprentice who was boss. Reluctantly, she fastened her pace. Her belly fur brushed the fallen tree and she crawled on it.
The other side was almost near, she managed to hop off the fallen tree by time. Her heart beated faster than usual, she felt like she would fall! If she did, wouldn't any cat save her?
Flatpaw's fur brushed against hers. "Was it scary?" he whispered, she was expecting him to say something about how he was so brave!
"Yeah." Foxpaw snorted.
"I felt like I was going to drown if I fell!" Flatpaw murmured truthfully. "Doesn't it stink here?"
"Of course it does mouse-brain!" Foxpaw retorted. "This is BreezeClan's territory."
"Of course I know!" Flatpaw snapped at her. "But doesn't it stink more than when we are in our part?"
Foxpaw shrugged. "That's not an answer!" Flatpaw sneered.
They went left, heading for SlopeClan. But they pushed into some brambles, then they were in between both.
Foxpaw watched in amusement as she saw many cats talking together. The two other leaders sat by their rocks.
Foxpaw heard them talking about how they were so late. But CliffClan was late anyways. Why did they have to be angry with them? Did they think CliffClan being late was an exception because they lived in the mountains?
Foxpaw padded forward, Joypaw's tail brushed against her shoulders. "Do you want me to introduce you to a few cats?" he suggested.
"I'm fine," Foxpaw insisted.
"I know a cat you'll like." Joypaw assured her, his green eyes glinted in the moonlight.
"Okay," Foxpaw murmured.
Flatpaw hurried after her, Foxpaw looked at a brown and white tom. His green eyes were sharp but there was a hint of softness in them.
"Joypaw." the tom murmurd. "And who is this?" he turned to see Foxpaw and Flatpaw.
"This is Foxpaw, and that is Flatpaw." Joypaw beckoned his tail over to them.
"Foxpaw, like I fox I suppose?" he mewed tilting his head. "And Flatpaw because ears that flop down?"
Flatpaw let out a hiss of annoyance. "They could have named me something else. Like Wolfpaw! I like that!" his amber eyes glowed excitingly.
Foxpaw shoved him with her shoulders. "And you are?"
"I am Featherpaw." The tom replied. "A powerful cat. I use my wits to attack, not my physical movements."
Featherpaw stared directly at Foxpaw. "You don't use your wits?" he mewed his eyes glinted like chips of flame.
"No . . ." Foxpaw stammered. "My physical movements help me better, not my wits. They hardly work and don't help me." she meowed truthfully.
"I shall give you less0ns then." Featherpaw suggested. "What do you think, Foxpaw?"
"Meeting each other?" Foxpaw snarled, she unsheathed her claws and revealed her sharp fangs.
Foxpaw felt a nip on her ears. "Remember the truce!" Flatpaw reminded her briskly.
