Foxclaw padded through the silhouette forest, her stomach fur brushing the blades of grass on the ground. Her ears were pricked for prey, but her claws prickled with excitement. Only when she noticed the forest looked different, she was in StarClan again!

Foxclaw dug the ground in frustration, why couldn't StarClan leave her in peace? If they are going to tell her something, make sure she understands it!

Out of the shadows came a small dark ginger she-cat. The she-cat stopped when she finished climbing the slope, her whiskers twitched. "You did not expect me to come." she meowed.

Foxclaw blinked, who was this cat? "Who are you."

The she-cat gave her chest fur some brisk licks. "How can I be so rude to a stranger? I am Deersong."

"Where is Lavenderspot?"

"Not all the same cats visit you all the time." she growled, her tail brushed the surface of the ground so lightly.

"What do you have to tell me?"
Deersong stared at her. "Nothing," she finally meowed. "You appeared out of nowhere, but you have something to tell me, don't you?"

Foxclaw blinked, her jaws wide in confusement. "Yes! How did you know?"

"How could you not? A mouse could sense your distress, now tell me Foxclaw. What is troubling you?" Deersong sat down, curling her tail over her paws.

Foxclaw hesitated, what if she took so long here? "Well," Foxclaw started. "I'm not really doing well in hunting, I feel like a mess for Icepaw. She seems like the mentor here, Joysong seems like he wants to kill me just because I don't like him. I love Featherheart, but he's from another Clan. I'm scared that another cat except Joysong will find out and tell the whole Clan." she paused. "Is this enough for you? Well I'm not finished, you StarClan cats give me these prophecies that I don't know! I feel so stressed out! And it's all your fault! Now what else do you want me to tell you?"

Deersong hesitated. "I'm so sorry Foxclaw." she mewed sadly. "There is nothing I can do. Even StarClan cats get stressed out with prophecies, if only we could tell you the truth." her voice cracked. "You will find yourself Foxclaw, even though you might not like it."

"That's not an answer!" Foxclaw snapped.

Suddenly a large white tom came running, he halted as soon as he saw Foxclaw. "Deersong you had told her too much." he growled.

Deersong faced the white tom. "I'm sorry Whitefoot, but I wish I could tell her the truth." her voice pierced with sadness.

"Any cat wishes." Whitefoot retorted. "You must leave young Foxclaw."

Foxclaw fluffed out her chest. How would she? Foxclaw turned away, she didn't want to see the StarClan cats. The world became pitch black, and she was in her den again.

Foxclaw shivered, the cold morning air freezed her. She imagined it was leaf-bare except more warmer. Joysong was sleeping nearby, Goldentail as well. The other warriors weren't here, and Foxclaw guessed that Flatwhisker had spent the night with Streamcloud.

She could feel her Deersong's soft voice echo in her ear. There is stuff you want, but not stuff you need. When you get what you want, you end up hurting others, she wanted to yowl with anger at the whole forest that all the way from CliffClan the cats would hear.

Goldentail opened her eyes, she lifted her muzzle to Foxclaw. "Foxclaw are you okay?" she murmured sleepily. "Do you want me to get Hollypool for poppy seeds?"
"No!" Foxclaw hissed sulky. "I'm fine." because if I dream again StarClan cats might appear. And I don't want that to happen.
