37, Paths crossed again

He was right. I enjoyed every bit of our time as we explored in Baguio City and the nearest cities to it too. He scheduled everything for us but some just happened out of the plan, yet it was still so fun nonetheless.

It was really a long drive though and when we finally arrived, we were both exhausted.

The room gave us a beautiful view of the scenery outside with its full glass wall. My eyes were glued on the sparkling lights of both the establishments from afar and the stars in the sky. Warm hands then suddenly encircled around my waist and Safe moved his head down my shoulder.

"Happy birthday, my love..." he whispered.

I smiled and held his hands, breathing peacefully. He paid for our stay in this hotel although I offered that we should share. He declined firmly so I just chose to let it slide. He already paid for my gas. It's too much.

We had our food delivered to our room and then after eating, we rested a bit before cleaning up so we could sleep. We just cuddled on the bed and he just laughed while I was teasing him about it.

"No sexy time?" my eyes turned into slits, turning my face to him.

He chuckled, pinching the bridge of his nose. He was hugging me from the back.

"Let's just sleep. You behave and I will, too."

I laughed. Crazy. He looked so handsome though and smelled so, so good. I can't believe I really did behaved that night.

We were supposed to just have an overnight trip but we decided to extend it. We visited all the tourist spots. We went to La Trinidad, tried strawberry-picking, tasted lots of food including the strawberry ice cream and taho. Bought some goodies and souvenirs... tried zipline and felt the fun and excitement from it.

We tried boating, too, and horseback-riding. I enjoyed every view the place could offer. We went to Mines View Park, the butterfly garden, the BenCab Museum... and I would always pull him by his hand whenever I saw something really, really good.

"Love, look!" I could be mistaken for a child with my giddiness.

He was already holding the tray with all the stuff I bought. "Please, please, let me...

"Love, no... no..." paulit-ulit ako, umiiling pa. "These are my gifts for myself. I will pay for them."

"Alright..." he sighed.

I saw this gray jacket and I thought it will really suit him so I made him try it on, and when I was about to pay... he insisted on paying it himself. I instantly picked it up and I learned that he only had two blue bills left with him, and some red and orange ones.
