[Y/n's P.O.V.]

For some odd reason, I was feeling uneasy about meeting up with Mori. Something was about to happen

I was trembling with fear as I got closer to the huge twin doors. My body felt heavier with each step I took. The hallway I walked down was quiet as usual. This time, I could only hear my racing heart that wanted to jump out my chest.

Calm down Y/n. You've come here many times before. Stop acting as if it's your first time.

Out of nowhere, Mori called me up to his office. There wasn't a reason for me to be called for. If it were a mission, Chuuya would've told me. All of my missions went smoothly without any problems. My plans for smuggling also didn't go wrong. But for some reason I got called up.

A quick breeze hit my face once the twin doors opened. The same room I first saw was there. Mori sat in his chair that faced the huge windows.

I took a deep breath before I continued. My heart started to slow down as I started to reassure myself. Nothing bad could've happened.

"Boss." I greeted him with a bow before I continued forward.

I stopped and stood there, with a bit of distance between us. His eyes looked to the side.

"Take a seat Y/n-kun." He said as if we were friends.

Those four words were enough to bring my anxiety back. It was strange for me to sit down with the Boss. Everyone (except the executives) almost never sits down with the Boss to talk.

Stop overthinking it. He's probably feeling nice today....

"How's your new position going?" Mori asked.

See, he might give you a better position.

I gulped down my fear and responded. "So far everything is running smoothly. No problems have popped up." It was hard to keep my composure.

Even if I thought that my anxiety left for good, it came back rushing throughout my whole body. I couldn't control it. Maybe my instincts were telling me that something horrible was about to occur.

"Another position has popped up..." He lingered as a twisted smile appeared on his face. I was right, something horrible was going to happen. "The only person suited for it is you. Do you know why?" The man asked, leaving me on the edge of my seat.

"No." I asked with the most neutral tone I had at that moment. The smile grew even bigger after responding.

"Your father ordered for you to be returned to him."

...

...

...

w-what?

I felt my chest tighten up. My legs became jelly and I fell to the floor. I clutched onto my shirt as it became more and more difficult to breath. Nothing felt real. It had to be a dream because there was no way my father knew I was in the Port Mafia.

This has to be some sick joke. I-I can't go back with my father. He didn't want me at first but now he wants me back?

"Haha....So I really did get sold off?" My voice was weak, that I barely could hear myself.

Warm salty tears ran down my face and fell to the floor. I bite my lip to prevent the tears from coming. Although I closed my eyes and bit my lip, it was no use. More and more kept coming.

"Y/n-kun, you didn't get sold off. You're merely doing another mission, so stop crying and get up." The Boss's sharp words stopped the thoughts that flooded my mind.
