Shedi's POV
I woke up feeling something in my eyes, then I suddenly remember I already did the operation. Flame, her name popped up in my head... she's the first person I want to see. I move my hand and roam over in my bed-- and I felt like someone is sleeping beside my bed, I slowly put my hand to the person beside me and felt her hair.
"Flame?" -- I whisper, nagbabakasali na sana sya ang yung taong nakapa ko. I tried to smell her scent but sadly to say, Her familiar scent is missing.
"Best." — I heard Cathy said as she move and hold my hand, so she's the one who's sleeping beside me.
"Did I wake you up?" — I asked her.
"No. Makakakita ka na mamaya best, I'll just call the Doctor." — usal nito at naramdaman ko ang pagtayo nito, before she had the chance to leave I hold her hand tighy.
"Cathy, where is— Flame?" — I shyly asked her.
"Kakauwi nya lang kaninang madaling araw and she said she's sorry for arriving late yesterday." — Cathy told me. I just nodded my head.
"Can you please call her for me?" — I asked her.
"Okay I'll call her, magpahinga ka na muna, tatawagin ko lang si Doc." — usal nito. Napabuntong hininga naman ako when I heard Cathy closed the door.
"I missed her already." — I muttered. When I thought about my eyes, I can't help but to feel excited knowing that I can finally see Flame's appearance.
"I'm sorry but Please Doc, let's just wait for Flame before you remove this bandage." — pakiusap ko, Cathy and Lola are already here. I can hear how Cathy tried to hold her laugh, I know I'm being stubborn. I just want Flame to be here, gusto ko sya ang mauuna kong makikita.
"Okay Miss Bautista, it's okay." — the Doctor said.
"Pasensya ka na sa Apo ko Doc." — Lola said between her laugh.
"Okay lang po Mrs. Bautista." — He politely respond.
"Can you contact her again Cathy?" — I asked her.
"I already tried calling her but I can't reached her number. Subukan ko na lang tawagan sila Vivian." — she told me which makes me nod, I'm worried about Flame. Why her number is out of coverage?
"Oh hi Vivian, pupunta ba kayo ngayon sa Hospital?" — I heard Cathy asked.
"Kasama nyo ba si Flame?" — Cathy asked again. I can't help but to play my fingers, I'm nervous and worried at the same time. Flame promise me that she will be here once they will remove the bandage in my eyes. I consider this operation because she's one of the reason why I did this. I let out a big sigh, I hope she's fine.
"Okay, pakidaanan na lng din si Flame, Salamat." — Cathy said.
"Papunta na daw sila Ice at Red dito, si Vivian on the way na din sana pero icheck nya daw si Flame para sabay na sipa pupunta dito." — Cathy informed me.
"Thank you best." — I said.
"Apo, Flame is fine wag ka na masyadong mag alala ha?" — Lola said as she hold my hand. I force myself to smile.
