At Pier 1991
Maingay, mausok, crowded.... It's been so long since I went here. Ate Zarina hug me when she saw me at the side of the stool bar.
"Hmmm... Your smell never changed our Shedi." -- she whispered to me kinalibutan ako pero I just hugged her back. Ate Za is still the same, wala na din akong nabalitaan sa kanya since I've became busy with my life.
"Ate how are you? Namiss kita." -- usal ko ng maghiwalay na kami ng yakap. She smiled at me and answered.
"I missed you too. No need to asked, I'm fine pretty." -- I was about to respond but she grab my hand and drag me to the VIP room. I know my friends are over there already.
"Hey!" -- hiyaw nila pagkakita sa akin, Red stand up and give me a tight hug. Same as Vivian and Cathy, Ice just nod and offer me a drink but I declined with a a small smile in my face. Nagawi naman ang tingin ko kina Flame at Dane, nakaakbay si Flame kay Dane and--- I don't like what I'm seeing. I didn't expect Flame's eyes met mine kaya napaiwas na ako ng tingin, I was wondering if kanina pa ba sya nakatingin sa akin? Hope? Assuming? Yes that's what I've felt and I don't like it.
"Glad you came." -- Red told me, still holding my hand, inaanyayahan ako nitong maupo pero naalala ko si Celeste.
"I'll be back later." -- I told her. She look at me with her furrowed eyebrows. I remove my hand in hers then I tap her shoulder.
"Celeste is here, she's going to perform. I need to watch her." -- usal ko.
"Oh~ that kiddo." -- singit naman ni ate Zarina. "She's really good at playing guitar, their vocalist is awesome that's why I like their band." -- manghang dagdag pa nito, di ko maiwasan ang mapangiti, I'm so proud of her. I will surely give her a big hug after her gig.
"She's also good at singing." -- I added, napuno naman ng hiyawan ang room kaya napayuko ako. Diko maiwasan ang mapailing but I can't remove the smile in my face.
"I didn't know she's your friend." -- nagtatakang wika ni ate Zarina.
"She's her suitor." -- biglang singit naman ni Cathy, I glare at her pero bineletan lang ako nito. Sasagot na sana ako ng tuksuhin nila ako, hinayaan ko nalang sila dahil hindi na sila nakikinig sa sinasabi ko. We all went near at the stage, agad naman hinanap ng mga mata ko si Celeste. I really missed her, she's been a good friend to me and I'm glad she's back. Agad naman akong nakita ni Celeste and she wink at me, my friends went crazy and slightly push me. They keep on teasing me to Celeste, hindi ko na lang sila sinita dahil alam kong di talaga sila titigil. Sandaling napunta naman ang tingin ko kina Flame at Dane, and I think they have a serious talk, nakataas kasi ang dalawang kilay ni Flame. Mananatili pa sana ang attention ko kina Flame ng marinig kong tawagin ako ni Celeste gamit ang mikropono, napailing naman ako ng makita ko ang mapaglarong ngiti sa labi nya.
"Good evening Everyone!" -- Celeste said with her hyper voice. Nag ingay naman ang mga tao.
"Nag eenjoy ba kayo?" -- sigaw nung nakapwesto sa may organ, sabay sabay naman na sumagot ang mga tao, napangiti naman ako ng magtagpo ang mga mata ulit namin ni Celeste.
"This is Light Play Band, please enjoy our performance for tonight." -- usal naman ng nasa gitna, maybe she's the vocalist. They really look cool, especially Celeste, malakas ang dating.
