(Mayumi's POV)

After what felt like forever I finally opened my eyes, groaning as I slowly moved my legs. My bright green eyes scanned the area, realizing that I was in a fancy bedroom. The large king sized bed I was laying in was covered in silk sky blue sheets, with large white pillows. I looked to my left to see Kakashi, flatly asleep in a chair next to my bed. My eyes widened slightly as I noticed the gentle details of the part of his face that was exposed. A few moments later I felt a pain in my chest. I looked down my shirt, inspecting my chest.

"What in the?" I muttered softly as I noticed a very detail black seal on my left breast. My eyes widened, remembering the events that happened before with that mysterious cloaked man. I shut my eyes tightly for a moment, fear washing over me as it finally hit me... My chakra was sealed. The faint noise of Kakashi moving slightly startled me out of my train of thought. I quickly fixed my shirt, covering the mark on my breast as I glanced at Kakashi who was slowly waking up. He yawned, his black eyes fluttering open as his kind gaze met mine.

"You're awake, finally." Kakashi sighed in relief as I blushed slightly, surprised by his concern.

"How long was I out for?" I asked, not aware of the time or day.

"About a day and a half." Kakashi responded as I sighed deeply.

"We need to talk Mayumi." He added, his voice becoming stern. I raised my eyebrow as I looked at him again.

"About what?" I asked as he leaned toward in his chair, his face only a few inches from mine. I blushed deeply and averted my gaze, unsure of why I was so flustered all of a sudden.

"You are part of MY squad. Like it or not that's how it is. When I tell you to not use your power, that means don't use it. You could have gotten yourself killed Mayumi." He stated, my bright green gaze met his again.

"I know Kakashi...I'm sorry..." I muttered, causing him to sigh deeply. Suddenly I felt Kakashi's soft touch on the top of my head. The same dark pink blush from before came creeping over my cheeks again. Kakashi smiled as he rubbed the top of my head.

"You're my team mate, I don't want to loose you. Use your head next time, okay?" I felt an unfamiliar feeling flood my heart and mind as I took a deep breath and nodded.

"I will... I promise." I spoke softly. His eyes widened a bit as he quickly removed his hand from the top of my head.

"S-So uhm.. did you notify Lord Hokage that we arrived? Are the kids okay?" I asked nervously, trying to change the subject quickly. He nodded and stood up from the chair.

"Yeah...I sent a messenger hawk. The rest of the team is okay, I have them outside training right now." He explained, keeping his gaze away from me. I moved myself to the edge of the bed, my eyes drifting to the bandages on my thigh.

"Try not to move so much, I was able to stitch the wound and bandage it properly when we arrived. The kunai was pretty deep." Kakashi explained as I nodded, looking up at him.

"Thank you Kakashi, for everything." I smiled softly as Kakashi quickly turned his back away from me.

"W-Well, now that you're awake I'll give you some privacy to rest..." he mumbled as he quickly headed to the door.

"Mayumi...if you need anything, please ask." He spoke softly before leaving the door and closing the door behind himself. I sighed deeply and held onto my chest, my face as pink as a cherry blossom.

"W-What was that?" I muttered to myself as I shook my head. I had bigger things to worry about at this moment. I looked across the room at a light cherry wood door that seemed to lead to a bathroom. I carefully climbed out of bed, my long off white hair cascading down my back as I limped to the bathroom. Once inside the small room I unhooked my top, allowing the thin fabric to fall off my chest.

My bright green eyes inspected the mark in the mirror as I sighed deeply to myself. I closed my eyes and held up the sign of the dragon, doing the best I could to activate my Kekei Genkai. As soon as I tried I felt every vein in my chest begin to burn. I grabbed my chest and gasped in pain as I almost fell onto the floor. I quickly grabbed the sink, doing the best I could to keep myself from hitting the ground.

After a few moments I caught my breath, pulling myself back onto my feet as sweat dripped down my forehead. I didn't want to do what I knew needed to be done but, I had no other choice. I slowly made my way to the huge bay window next to the bed, looking out to see a tower of messenger hawks. I rummaged through the large oak desk next to the window, finding a piece of paper and a ink pen. I took a deep breath as I quickly wrote the note:

Dear Father,
I apologize for bothering you, but it seems as though I ran into a bit of trouble and I need your help. An assailant that had attacked my boss during the mission I am currently on placed a seal on my main chakra point, making me unable to use the Ishi Kettei-Sha. I think this is something only you can remove. If we could arrange a meeting between the two of us when I return from the Village Hidden in the Rain I would greatly appreciate it. I hope you are doing well Father.
Sincerely,
Mayumi

After attaching the message to the hawk, I instructed it to take my letter to the Village Hidden in the Leaves. I sighed deeply as I observed the hawk take off. I honestly didn't want to see my father but, I knew I needed my power back. I bit my lower lip and sighed again as I turned and went to lay back down in bed.
