June 4, 1944: twenty days
June fourth brought another air raid, the first in months. As Freidrich was not there, I sat with Pirot. We weathered the raid in the basement.
In the morning, we learned that the raid coordinates had been off, and the bombs had not even originally been meant for our area.
We also learned that one of the bombs had exploded within the prison fence, demolishing part of the fence, a good chunk of the land, a section of the courtyard, and the edge of the main building.
