'They have a different definition of monster', Samuel thought to himself as he held his gun in his hand before lowering it.

He couldn't shoot what was in front of him. Samuel had done numerous planet cleanouts and had killed numerous monsters. But the three in front of him weren't monsters. . . they couldn't be. They were just children.

Two little girls and a boy were huddled in a wooden collapse able safe space. They clearly weren't human like Samuel, but monsters were too farfetched.

They had very angelic features, but Samuel knew that angelic features could be deceiving. But they were children and looked so harmless. The boy sat in front of what Samuel guessed to be his two sisters attempting to shield his younger sisters from view. He looked to be in his preteens.

Their skin was a grey color with a light blue tint to it. They had black eyes with a big silver ring right around where their pupil would be separating the eye color and pupil.

Samuel sighed as he set his assault rifle down. The boy firmly placed himself between him and his sisters. Samuel looked at the feathers by their ears and then underneath their eyes. The boy had grey ones and the girls had white ones.

"Hey, it's okay I'm not going to hurt you." Samuel said as he bent down in front of them.

"I'm here to help you. Let's start with getting you three out of here." Samuel told them. He leaned forward and grabbed the smallest girl with silver hair and lifted her out. Then he grabbed the one with grey hair and then he grabbed the boy and lifted him out.

He went right in front of his sisters right after. Samuel sighed as he grabbed his rifle and strapped it to him.

"Are there more of you?" Samuel asked but neither of them answered.

Samuel nodded. "Come on let's get you three out of here." Samuel couldn't just leave them behind or put a bullet in their head. So, against his better decision he took the three of them in effectively 'wiping' the planet of the monsters.

He didn't even care about the consequences when he helped the three into his spaceship. He's a general. Samuel smiled as he watched the three sit underneath a blanket together as he steered his ship away.

386. Bit on the sweeter side. Have a story idea in mind for this one. They are basically an 'invasive' species of aliens on the planet hence why they are called monsters and Samuel has a soft spot for children. ***
