"Do not move." Hermes warned Rhea who stared at the large creature in front of her.

The large dragon like creature lowered one of its nine heads down towards her its tongue flickering out testing the air.

"Viha." Hermes spoke attempting to catch the attention of his incredibly temperamental hydra. One of the heads turned over towards Hermes watched their caretaker as he approached slowly. Another head lowered down in front of Rhea and began sniffing her.

"Do not make any movements, they'll see it as an excuse to attack." Hermes warned and Rhea stood still resisting the urge to nod. One of the heads nudged her sniffing over her smelling the meat in her pockets. Its tongue dipped out and locked on the meat before pulling it out.

Hermes slowly approached Viha. The hydra was easily one of his deadliest beasts with it being nearly immortal. Everyone's instinct was to cut its head off until they saw two more growing back.

"Viha." Hermes spoke again and the seven heads which weren't focused on Rhea turned to Hermes. Hermes removed the food he had brought and dangled it out. The other two heads turned around as Viha turned away from Rhea.

"Back away slowly." Hermes told Rhea who slowly backed away.

Viha raised itself up looking at the meat as Hermes threw it to one of the heads which caught it. His eyes settled on the chain on the head in the middle. The main immortal head, the head the others would protect viciously.

Hermes crept forward before grabbing the chain just as one of Viha's head tried to bite him and he narrowly dodged the bite. He pulled down on the chain as Viha dramatically let out a pained roar in hopes to gain pity from Hermes and have him let go.

"Let's go home Viha before you scare anyone else." Hermes scolded Viha as he began taking the hydra back to its enclosure amongst his other beasts before Viha decided someone looked tasty enough to eat.

331. I was drawn between the griffin and the hydra. I chose the hydra. ***
